I bought these to use to charge cellphones & other electronics from a 12 volt 20 Ah lithium battery..

These only provide 5v DC, they are NOT 12v as advertised. You’ll be disappointed if you need more than 5 volts…

No issues, worked as planned.

When the product arrived, it looked perfect with nicely tinned ends of the USB wire. However, I have since discovered after installing it in a device that the data pins in the USB pigtail are floating (aka not connected to anything). This does not follow the USB charging specification, which will cause some devices to refuse to charge. For me, this meant that my Samsung phone and Anker power bank would work, but my iPhone would not. If you are more curious about the issue that seems to mostly affect Apple devices, Google "Adafruit iCharging". Unfortunately, because the USB data lines are not exposed at the end of the pigtail, I'll need to purchase a "USB Data Blocker" like the one from StarTech.com or the one from PortaPow if I want it to work with Apple devices at all, or with Android devices without the warning. But if you are looking for a simple USB pigtail for basic power supply needs, this will be your guy. In the end, I am using this USB port to power a basic video camera that comes with a USB to barrel plug cable, and it worked without a hitch with my use case.

I broke the usb connected on another device of mine previously. I tried another product prior to this one. It was one of those split and screw tight adapter type ones and it didn't work at all. I bought this set afterwards, reconnected the two stripped wires, applied electrical wire connectors and electrical tape and BAM. Bob's you're uncle.
