These dishes are incredible, with clean lines, and unique in simplicity and design. The white is perfect! A clean bright warm white!!Thank you for your fantastic design!! This is a charming set of chinaware that works well for both everyday use and dressed up for dinner parties. With a simple yet elegant stylish design in a glossy bright white, it looks great with any table setting. The dinner plates at 11" and salad plates at 9" are lightweight and generously sized. This is an excellent 12 piece set of versatile dinnerware offered at a very attractive price point.

Despite what some reviews said about chipping, mine have not chipped at all. I like that they are lightweight and the neutral cream color will go with anything. The size is perfect. I like that the dinner plates are not overly large. Everything is just right.

So, the first order arrived with almost all the dishes broken. Chalk that up to poor packing on the part of the shipper--whoever that might be. The replacement order arrived intact thankfully. The packing was slightly better. Time will tell whether or not these dishes stand up to normal use. Overall, I like the simple modern design of the set. My one criticism is the "bowls" are more like plates with very high edges. I can see using these for a thick stew or something that doesn't have a lot of liquid (french onion soup lovers keep it moving!).

Immediately drawn to these dishes. The white color is clean looking and match everything. Design is very simple. They are lighter weight than I was expecting but great for casual dining.

Chip resistant and beautiful finish. Some of the plates have dips. The beauty and functionality out weighed the inconsistency of the plate bottoms.

Everyday dinnerware that feels like you’re using something much nicer usually reserved for special occasions. It reminds me of when I was a kid around the holidays and we’d be allowed to eat in the dining room and we would actually use the fine china in the china cabinet that sat on display all year, we would even be allowed to sit in the living room which had plush sculpted carpeting that my mother would vacuum with the lines going in such a way that she could tell who went in there from my family based on the footprints that messed up her pattern.But back to the plates. There is a nice weight to them, they are in no way flimsy, the glazing is substantial and feels like it will last for a very long time. The pattern is subtle, yet noticeable which combined with the soft eggshell color adds to the elegance and upscale feel of the set.I would highly recommend this Mikasa set for yourself or as a gift (perfect starter set for a bridal shower present), or better yet, BOTH!

I bought three sets and I'm satisfied with the quality and sturdiness, despite the dishes being lightweight, which I also appreciate. I like the pasta bowl, but instead of the medium and large dinner plates, I would have preferred a medium plate and a soup bowl.

This china is marvellous! It doesn’t seem to scratch or chip at all. I’ll never go back to stoneware! Bowls are a great size. You can fit the milk for cereal. Nice weight too.

This is such a beautiful set, simple yet elegant. Unfortunately one of the dinner plates doesn't sit flat :-(Is it possible to get a replacement for just that piece?
