This product was used as a security divide on the front door of a block of flats.It replaced a similar device.I found it very fiddly to install,but that was maybe my fault having never attempted anything like this before.But once in operation it has worked fine.So I would recommend it to any one thinking of buying it.

This item was easy to fit and works well, however, I was disappointed that it was not more sophisticated. Also the cost of the wireless keyfobs (needed for multiple users without sharing the single pin code) greatly inflated the total cost of ownership. PROS o Working reliably for the last month, i.e. since fitted o Very easy to fit to an existing door with a standard euro-cylinder lock. o No wiring need as keypad and lock communicate via wirelessly with a range of a meter or two. o If a wireless keyfob (see notes below) is lost, it alone can be permanently unpaired from the lock. o The batteries in the handle are on the outside so should not be a problem if they go flat. o The keypad can use used to unlock the door using a six digit pin code. CONS o If the lock does break down in the future, there is no backup; you will need a locksmith to break-in for you. o Only the keypad (which needs to be installed within a few feet) can administer the lock (i.e. add and remove wireless keyfobs). o The master pin code is actually the only pin code that allows the keypad to open the door, so temporary use pin codes are not possible. o Additional wireless keyfobs are needed (TSE 5103 E-Keys are approx 30 GBP each on Amazon, note up to five can be programmed to open the lock by pushing one button) to allow access without sharing the master (i.e. the only) pin code. o The lock cannot be remotely administered (say via the internet) the keypad needs to be used locally. o The range of the wireless key fobs is only about 10cm (make sure they are very close to the lock and keypad when programming) o The product description is poor and the instructions were not easy for me to follow, that is before I appreciated the above limitations. Hope this helps people make an informed decision on this product. As it has been reliable, I'm keeping the lock despite my disappointment with its lack of useful features and cost of giving wireless key fobs to all users.

Quality is not the best for the price

Ok quality product but can find much better for the price.

Wir haben dieses Türzylinder TSE Set 4001 von Burg Wächter gekauft weil wir eh einen neuen brauchten. Ich wollte aber keinen "normalen". Da ich schon oft elektrische Türöffner gesehen habe und was einfaches für meine Kinder haben wollte habe ich mir diesen ausgesucht. Vorallem fand ich sehr gut, dass ich keine Löcher bohren musste, kein Kabel verlegen muss usw.. Der Türzylinder kam gut verpackt in einer blisterähnlichen Schachtel an. Die Installation ging total einfach. Alter Zylinder raus, neuer Zylinder rein. Auf die entsprechende Türstärke eingestellt und festgeschraubt. Das Bedienfeld mit den beigefügten Klebepads an Türstock geklebt, Batterien rein und fertig. Die Programmierung war dann etwas anspruchsvoller. Die hatte leider auf das erstemal nicht geklappt. Wenn man aber der Anleitung Schritt für Schritt folgt, klappt es. Meine Jungs hatten den Dreh auch gleich raus, wie sie die Türe jetzt öffnen können, auch ohne Schlüssel. Technische Daten/Lieferumfang: 1 Bedienteil (2×AA Batterien) 1 Türzylinder (2xAAA Batterien) 1 Imbusschlüssel 6 Schrauben 4 Klebepads 1 Zylinderabdeckung 1 Pincode mit 6 Stellen Programmierbar 5 E-Keys nutzbar (separat erhältlich) Max. Türstärke 120 mm (60/60) Mein Fazit: Einfach zu installierender Türzylinder. Kein bohren, keine Kabel verlegen. Kinderleicht zu bedienen. Auch ohne Schlüssel kommt man jederzeit in die Wohnung. Preis/Leistungsverhältnis passt hier! Klare Kaufempfehlung!

L'ho utilizzato per automatizzare la serratura della porta che dal mio garage va sul vano scale esterno, io sono soddisfatto, mi evita di portare con me chiavi e telecomandi, ho fissato alla porta anche il tastierino numerico e se devo entrare scrivo il codice, mi chiudo la porta dietro di me, chiudo da dentro con il rullo interno. Basta chiavi, con le mani piene di roba quando rientro non devo preparare o cercare chiavi o quant'altro. Lo ricomprerei subito, soprattuto a circa 120€ quanto l'ho pagato io.

J'en ai une dizaines qui tournent depuis 5ans, le code se change de l'extérieur et en 30 secondes. Mieux et plus sécurisé qu'une boîte à clé. Attention mettre des piles de qualité et vous tiendrez une année. Sur dix appareil,un seul m'a lâché en 5 ans. Au niveau du rouleau.

Muy buen funcionamiento y fácil de instalar, sólo hay que sustituir el bombín y punto. Como dos únicas pegas hay que decir que el material del teclado es un plástico de mala calidad y no es muy resistente y dudo que sea duradero. Por otra parte decir que a la unidad no se le pueda conectar un cable de corriente te hace depender de la duración de las pilas.
