Very detailed castle
This 3D Wooden Taj Mahal/Love Castle is very delicate and detailed, the perfect size. I love the LED lights. If you are looking for a 3D puzzle to keep you busy for a few hours, I definitely recommend this one.

Taj Mahal(-ish) 3D puzzle, also known as "Persian Love Palace"
(I bought this from another vendor, not from Amazon, but want to include "Kudo's" for this great product.) I really loved doing this one...a simply wonderful piece! Beautiful, easy to assemble, parts well fitted...it's a genius piece of engineering, laser cutting, and laser engraving. (I do have arthritic hands, but it was still so easy to assemble.) I made only one change to it: painted the vertical edges of the dome and minarets with a lighter color, in an effort to de-emphasize those otherwise dark edges. This was a sheer Joy to assemble. Added bonus- the light it casts onto the ceiling is amazing.

Fun to assemble kit with sturdy construction
All pieces are from precisely laser etched 2mm laminate plywood sheets. I have built other similar kits but these sheets seem to be a step up in quality. The laminate construction is very sturdy. In particular the dome at top is very solidly constructed. It reminded me a bit of Monty Python’s Holy Hand Grenade. My picture shows a bit of the internal construction. The instructions could have been a little clearer. Many of the illustrations used dashed red lines to indicate where certain piece tabs are to be assembled, but I found them to be unclear, at least for my old eyes. I often had to look at follow-on illustrations to determine what the result should be.NOTE: I did run a cross one issue in the instructions. Step 6 had two mislabeled pieces. Pieces F2 and F3 should have been F3 and F2 in that order. See my picture. If you follow the instructions as originally indicated, these two pieces do not stack correctly. The larger piece would somewhat obscure the smaller piece behind it. The main entrance archway would not look correctly layered as seen in my picture. Some of the steps felt like you needed three hands, but if you work slowly and carefully you will complete the assembly. I am thankful the pieces are very sturdy. You often need to press very firmly to mesh the tabs properly. Fortunately, some of the more fragile pieces are have one or more extra duplicate copies in case of breakage, which I needed. Just take it slowly.

Love this kit
This is a great kit. I love the design and all the intricate details, including the cut out windows. The pieces are cut and ready for you to pop out. They are cut well, so this was very easy. I love the addition of the light up feature. The instructions are decent, and I included a picture for you, because this can be very important for most people. The only thing I don’t like is the fact that it’s a USB plug-in. I guess you could easily replace this with battery operated lighting or small tea light candles. But I don’t like having to be connected.
