My daughter had been asking for these for quite some time, and I finally decided to get them for her birthday—and I’m so glad I did! She was absolutely thrilled when she opened them, and they quickly became one of her favorite toys. It’s always nice when a gift lives up to the excitement, and these definitely did. What I love most is how versatile they are. She plays with them during bath time, and they’ve made getting into the tub something she actually looks forward to now. They're also perfect for outdoor play—especially in the water table, where she spends hours using her imagination and making up stories. The toys have held up well to both indoor and outdoor use, and they’re just the right size for little hands to handle easily. Another thing I appreciated is that the set came with two, which turned out to be a perfect solution for our household. Without even being prompted, she gave one to her older sister, which was such a sweet moment to witness. Now the two of them can play together without fighting over the same toy. It’s been really nice seeing them share and interact so happily with something they both enjoy. The quality seems great so far—they’ve been dropped, splashed, and thoroughly loved, and they still look and function like new. All in all, this was a wonderful purchase and a great birthday gift. Super cute and fun. They are a nice size for little hands but not a choking hazard. They swim around and have been a hit! No assembly needed!

I think this is just as cool as my kids do. They are somewhat translucent so you can see the mechanics inside, and they have a true to life fish swimming motion as they swim around the bathtub. Could probably be cool for other purposes like a display or water feature. In my house it is a super cool robot bath toy which I may have put in my own bath as a grownass adult. Because it's mechanical, it is a bit delicate and won't hold up to an aggressive toddler messing with the tail for too long which I think is fair. Would be great for a kid gift or stocking stuffer.

Purchased these for my daughter’s water table that she received for her 2nd table! The first two times they worked great. She loved watching them swim around and “catching” them in her little net. The third time the blue one stopped working, not sure why… the orange one is still Going strong!! Would have returned for replacement but already threw away all the packaging. It might of just been a fluke with the blue one. She’s still Playing with it but asks why it isn’t swimming!

These fish are really neat, until they are not. The batteries typically don't last but about a month and they are prone to either stop working or not turn off. My granddaughter loves them so I have bought several over the past few months but 2 of the 4 I've bought from Amazon no longer work. And don't think about reaching out to Zuru; that is a useless endeavor. My latest casualty (Orangie as she's called) never would turn off. So I tried replacing the batteries and the attached photo shows the state of the OEM batteries. Corroded badly which, I presume, in turn corroded the small controller in the fish. I have taken to replacing the entire toy at discount stores since they have started carrying some of these at a discount for Christmas. When they work they work pretty good; but when they quit working there really is nothing you can do except help fill the local landfill. I give it 2 stars only because my granddaughter loves them so much.
