Bought this on recommendation of a burn victim. My wife scalded herself very badly. She had a huge blister on her wrist for a week. The dressing was very comfortable to use and wear. When the blister burst she kept using the Jelonet dressing for a while. The end result was amazing. An infection free wound. We can't believe how well this worked.

In our house we are familier with this "greasy gauze" form of burn/scald dressing, and choose to have some in the first aid kit for emergencies. They are amazingly effective at taking the pain of burns away, and at starting the process of scar-free healing. Hint: Do not be afraid to apply multiple layers if deemed it necessary. They are large enough to fold for doubling up layers. I know that six layers can be beneficial.... However, if six layers is not enough to stop the pain, take this as a sign that you should go immediately to hospital for professional treatment.in the emergency room
