Great for spare on the trailer
Fits and works as expected.

Works great! Easy to attach!
This tire carrier is such an asset to any trailer. It goes on in minutes. It allows for more space on your trailer when you need all of your trailer space for whatever you are hauling. Helpful tip: (Be sure to put the two bolts that have the least amount of threading on top as the solid metal shank part will rest on the metal frame of the trailer and not the threads). The ones with the most threading go on the bottom. There aren't any instructions that come with the tire holder. Satisfied customer!

Looks nice with flaws
Just like many of the other reviews say; there is no way to fully tighten down the spare tire using the hardware that came with this. We will see how long it holds up with all of the rattling

Good solid product
Works like it should, solid product, not cheaply built. Good quality steel.

Works as well as a factory spare tire holder
This looks and works as well as the factory unit. We're using it to hold a second spare. The class D trailer tires have such thick steel belts that they are impossible to plug on the road, even with a professional mushroom plug tool.

I only question how well the welds will hold up
This things looks great. It has a really nice finish on it and everything is made out of a nice rigid metal. My only concern is that the welds look a bit sloppy and I question whether they've penetrated the 2 surfaces enough to last. These receive quite a bit of shock from trailers vibration and bouncing on the road. I'll update to a 5 star if it doesn't seem to hold up and I'll lower to 2 stars if it doesn't hold up.

Junk, do not buy
Installation was easy, but the tire and mount fell off the trailer at highway speeds. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME.I do not understand the tire mounting system. There are shoulder bolts that push through and a nut and washers (which do not make the bolt tight). Then the tire and a lug nut. The shoulder on the bolt is too wide? The tire was tightened and still wobbly. The wobbly backed off the mounting bolts after 20 miles...

Super simple installation except...
Extremely simple installation of just four bolts around the trailer frame, solid square tubing, Add a drop of locktite on threads and check before each trip as it will be vibrating. Except the hardware for the spare tire is not correct, no matter how you install it there is play and therefore not a good tight fit...Will probably just hit it with a tack weld.
