Firstly the size, Big head needed. Having to make your own holes wasn't so easy as they make out, as most of the time splitting, plus the amount is no easy task trying to work out where I'd done and where I hadn'tit was very loose on my head I was having to hold on to as she was doing my hair!!Yes its very thick but that can also cause problems. The results where just the same as we get with the highlighting kit's own plastic hat!! absolutely no better than that and not worth the effort of being sat there poking holes in the dam thing.The rubber hats you get in the salon are completely different. don't recommend this at all.

Bought for my stepdad who wanted highlights. He says it worked well and is very happy with the results.

The media could not be loaded. Looks durable and would last ages without ripping. Quite big for small heads. The issue is you have to make the holes. There are preholed ones here 3x the price. If you are patient enough you can do the holes. At first, I punctured one hole using the crochet and it made a rip, second try I burnt the end of crochet stick to burn the hole, didnt work, finally I used a scissor as you can see and it worked. The holes arent perfect circles but good enough. Just reverse it(inside out), cut thru the inside of the thick rings and it will do. Only it bloody takes hours to finish. Such hard work for a 4 quid thing. Not too happy but its ok when you have plenty of spare time.

I love the results, my hair was a light chocolate kind of brown, bleached some highlights and it’s really nice however, I had to start 3 times it was that bad. I made sure my hair was combed but when pulling hair through the cap it just kept knotting up and it was very very painful we started at 7:30pm and finished at 3am. Taking the cap off was awful we had to cut it, just wasn’t coming off even though we put conditioner and coconut oil on my hair to grease it up but still wouldn’t budge so we cut it off, washed my hair (SOOO MANY KNOTS) I thought I was going to have to shave my head.

Highlight cap arrived very quickly . I was expecting the cap to be pre punched. So thats not the case. You have to puncher the holes in yourself, which can be tricky as as you go along its very easy to split the cap and put a larger hole than was expecting. The cap is quite large.

Works wells nice size
