We were very pleasantly surprised by the quality of this shield. It’s a dense, durable foam that is rigid enough to hold its shape well but is also very comfortable. It is molded so it is thick with enough weight that it looks and acts substantial without being excessively heavy. My 8 year old was able to carry it through the night and it held up well, but it’s sized so that it could easily be used for a child or an adult. Great price, and came in good condition. It does have a little bit of an odor for the first day or 2 similar to many foam beds. Highly recommend would be great for cosplay

Awesome shield, used for Emerald City Comic Con and had a blast. Held up well and solid pricing.

Looks amazing, sturdy and so much fun for my three boys to have swords fights and protect themselves too. Works great with spear too. Bought this shield for my 13 year old and the size and weight is great. The foam it’s made of is heavier but quite sturdy and durable. Straps are great too!

Excellent quality and color. I was blown away by the detail. It’s a beautiful color too. Only thing that bugged me was the silver studs that showed from where the arm holds are attached. Took me like 10 seconds to glue on some gold buttons and voilà

This thing is stinking up my house, it’s awful. Don’t want my kid near it and he picked it out
