Very effective. Very well made.
This grinder is unreasonably satisfying. Solid. Precise. Easy to operate. Great fit and finish. Extremely consistent grind. It's kind of fun to grab the handle and manually grind the morning's beans. Much quieter than an electric grinder. Much more travel friendly too.Perfect size for single cup brewing.Highly recommended.

Seriously impressive
This is a simple burr grinder, with just three pieces: a handle, the grinding mechanism and the hopper for grounds. Everything goes together effortlessly. It is well-made.The capacity is smaller than I expected, but that’s my fault for not paying attention to dimensions listed. I can typically grind about 2 tbsp of beans in about 45-60 seconds. I have the grind size dialed perfectly for espresso. I use an electric grinder for drip coffee, so I don’t plan to change the setting.Zero complaints. One of my best Amazon purchases.

Great Quality Mill
This is my first coffee mill, it will likely be my last. Not because I don't like it, but because of the mill's quality. I have the C2 Chestnut, and with the exception of the handle and a washer inside, it's all metal. And it's heavy duty. The mill will hold about 1/4 cup (not rounded) of beans for grinding. It takes me 50 seconds to grind that amount of coffee, I'm not trying to set a speed record. However, I will then grind another 1/16 cup of beans to get enough grounds for 4 cups of coffee at the strength I prefer. All in all, I'm done grinding my beans in about 90 seconds. There is a setting at the bottom of the mill to adjust the grind size. The enclosed pamphlet suggest setting the mill to closed and then backing off a number of "clicks" (opening the mill more slightly with each click) to the desired grind. I find 18 to be the magic number for me. Of course, how large or fine you like your grind will determine the overall grinding time.I would buy this coffee mill again.

Instructions need improvement
Excellent product! I'm loving the grinder! It's sleek, easy to use once I got it figured out. The only thing is the instructions weren't very clear. I had to look up youtube videos from several youtubers and watch them a few times to get it right.

Buen producto
Excelente molino, aunque trae un certificado de autenticidad qué registres pero solo sirve para USA, acá en México no lo permite.

The next step to great coffee
A quick review (sort of). I had the opportunity to taste some pre-ground coffee, namely Lavazza Oro Mountain grown and it had such a rich smooth chocolatey taste and that was without any milk or sugar, I was hooked. Even though I did occasionally drink good quality instant (So I thought) and enjoyed it at coffee shops, this was very different. So, as I was drinking the Lavazza, brewed in an orthodox method as I had no coffee equipment, I went about researching and found the guru of coffee, James Hoffman on youtube. I think I then fell in a deep rabbit hole but my rationale kept me from sinking too far, as getting into that world could become very expensive and I didn’t want that. After watching many videos my first modest investment was an Aeropress. This works very well with the pre-ground coffee and my enjoyment went up a step. The next step was to start grinding beans myself for the truer experience (although only supermarket sourced which could be months old, ideally fresher roasted bean suppliers are the ultimate) another complex path but I stuck to my guns. After some research and advice from forums, I landed on this, the Timemore C2 grinder.I waited for the prime sale and got this at a good price.I understand quality engineering, being a graduate in it, and this grinder exudes quality. Even though to coffee connoisseur this is a budget tool, it feels and functions higher end. Granted I have not tried the more expensive versions but for me, this is superb in my modest world. As this is around the 3rd iteration, two non-folding prior, they’ve upgraded the adjustment dial to metal from plastic. It’s easy to setup, though may require some testing depending on beans but plenty of information available on the internet. The aroma of fresh ground beans, wow. My level of coffee has gone up another step. Comes with a cleaning brush which is very useful, a carrying bag as its designed for travel plus some instructions. My reason for getting a manual grinder was budget. At this sort of budget you could get a electric grinder but it would be constrained someway, mostly with an inferior motor and possibly fail early. You really have to pay much more for a entry level goof electric grinder. By removing the motor element, more could be spent on the mechanism and structure and so, we have this, especially it having high quality steel grinding burrs than faster wearing ceramic. So, very pleased with this and hopefully it should last several years or more. Perhaps at one point the burrs may need sharpening or replacing, depending what’s possible.

Overall great quality
I got this about 8 months ago and I was pleasantly surprised when it arrived but wondered if it would last. I've used it regularly since I got it and I still love it. There's several settings for coarseness and it's easy to use. I use it for my moka pot and I've been enjoying my morning coffee - it's become a bit of a ritual.
