Why did you choose this product over others?: I ordered these masks for chemotherapy, which I'm currently undergoing, as it leaves your immune system pretty weak and you really, REALLY don't want to catch any infections during this time. I asked a friend who used to wear FFP2/FFP3 masks due to weak immunity after a surgery for recommendations, but he just said that as long as the standard is there, they're all the same - let me tell you, they are NOT the same. I have tried several different makes and models and I've found that anything that does not have the foam bit going around the nose, just the metal clip, does not provide me with the necessary seal that prevents you from breathing the air through the little loose bits around the mask edges and forces you to breathe through the mask - meaning that even though the mask might be an FFP2/FFP3 mask, all of that doesn't matter as you still breathe in unfiltered air. The M3 Aura masks have this little foamy bit, and it makes all the difference. I've found it's also important for comfort as some other masks, like Rosimask, kept sliding up to my eyes and kind of going into my eyes, which was not great; the foam makes the top of the mask stay in place. I also appreciate the double rubber band that goes over your head rather than the more common single band going over the ears - if you wear your mask for a few longer hours, these over-the-ear bands make your ears hurt quite a bit! The mask itself is really sturdy, too - it holds its shape once it's on your face, you never breathe it in. In short - good quality, good fit, and good seal. It's much more comfortable than the other masks I've tried and it works well if you need to stay in it for long hours. I've been wearing these for indoor use and during the biggest immunity dip period of each chemo cycle, as the protection is higher than with the FFP2 masks, and I've been using the FFP2 Aura masks for being outdoors with others. I'm almost halfway through my chemotherapy and, so far, I haven't gotten sick - hopefully it can stay this way. Fit: Sits well on my face, it's comfortable and the seal is good. Functionality: Offers a high level of protection, which is what I need. Every mask is individually packed, which is also helpful as you can take a spare with you when going out without risking contamination. Protection level: FFP3 - supposedly it catches 99% of the things I'm trying to avoid, so, yay.

Very high quality masks for a reasonable price, individually wrapped which is perfect for traveling or providing them for others.

The good fit lessens the steaming of my glasses, though I have not used the mask in the colder months. Mask is also comfortable for me to wear and relatively easy to take on and off. I have to wear a mask on public transport and enclosed public spaces so this is a good point for me. I change the mask once a week which fits in with my routine, as I do not use public transport every day.

It’s a 3M product so high expectations. In that it does not disappoint at all. Good News - The mask itself was nicely assembled in that of itself was smooth and comfortable against the face. I felt that there were sufficient layers that it met the required standard. There was Sufficient clearance between the mask and my nose / mouth so I didn’t inhale the mask when breathing in and thus try to suffocate myself. The headband straps are very stretchy and offered a secure attachment over several sessions. Point to note When the mask is removed from its sealed bag it has an obnoxious smell and as an asthmatic caused me to need my inhaler. I would suggest (as I did) that the mask is left ‘to air out’ for at 8hrs before use. Also, the side of the mask where the straps are secured created a pressure point exactly where my main facial muscle inserts into the bone. If worn for a long time it causes that muscle to ache. The mask is designed to be a very close fitting Covid protective face mask so I have accepted this.

comfortable to wear

It’s worth paying a bit more for good quality masks. These masks have a really good seal and are very comfortable to wear for several hours. I don’t remove my mask as I am the only person wearing a mask when attending hospital appointments.

These are ideal if you have a small head and small features. Sadly with my broad face, chubby cheeks and big head it is too painful to withstand for more than a couple seconds. It digs in, pinches, cuts into my skin. I know people who love these masks - just wanted to warn anyone on the bigger side to be wary! Maybe try one out before buying a box (don’t make my mistake!)

It has a tight fit -> important when dealing with hazardous chemicals. During the usage I had to take a few breaks away from the „danger“, as breathing gets pretty laborious under this mask. But this is also an indicator for it’s quality.

Sono delle ottime FFP3 e anche la respirazione è ottimale.
