3000 Watt 6000 Peak 3 Years Now
I bought this 3000 watt inverter to replace another 2000 watt unit I installed in my RV. The 2K unit trips out under the load of our microwave. The microwave is maybe a 1200-1500 watt load but I'm not sure. To make things simple, I have the inverter outlet facing the outer door where the AC shore power cord connects. I simply plug in the shore connection to the inverter and viola' the whole AC system of the rig is powered. The circuit breaker panel inside the coach is easy to access, so I turn off the converter to prevent a loop of power drain and I turn off the water heater as well. The battery system is two LiFePo batteries, rated for 200AH, tied in parallel. The connection from the batteries to the inverter are "0" size wire, about 3 feet in length.Under my initial test, the microwave ran for one full minute with voltage dropping from 13.6vdc to 12.2vdc immediately, but then staying solid at 12.0 to 12.1 during operation. I didn't try to see how long it would take to drain the batteries because I was happy with this initial test result.I also like the wired remote. Routing the wire into the coach was simple and, although I like wireless products, there's a certain comfort in having no internal battery device to worry about charging. This unit arrived just in time for a two week road trip. I will update my review later, after we've had a chance to put the new inverter through it's paces.UPDATEIt's 6-3-2025 and the inverter is still going strong. One annoying aspect is that, if the battery level drops too low, like it did a couple of nights for us, the inverter trips out and emits a shrill tone that persists until you disconnect power. The remote panel has a "RESET" or ON/OFF button that does nothing so it's a pain for me to go outside and try to access the inverter to cycle power with the on/off switch. If I don't wire in a battery source disconnect inside the RV, I may swap this unit out for one that's a little more user friendly with a remote reset.

Great service from the supplier - how about that!
I originally received this inverter with some minor damage, probably in shipping. A brittle plastic spacer/insulator at the DC electrical connector was cracked and came off in pieces. This is the place I might normally use Amazon's excellent return policy, but since the damage was so minor, I thought I would reach out to the supplier to see if they could replace the small plastic part.Enter Jimmy at SUGPOWER. Quick and friendly responses. A little back and forth to clarify the damage and identify the amazon order number. Next thing I know, he says he is sending a replacement. So I am expecting the plastic insulator to arrive in some few days.Well, in a few days, an entire replacement INVERTER arrives!! Yes, you read that right and may be as surprised as I was. I reach out to Jimmy to ask him about return of the damaged one, and he tells me to keep it.I don't write many reviews, but I had to mention this great supplier service when so many reviews mentioning the supplier service are negative. I'd sure do business with them again on another item.Oh, the inverter works great. I put it in service in my RV, powered by a powerful LiFePO4 battery I installed a couple of months early. With some solar and battery combined, I can run all the A/C loads off this inverter except air conditioning and water heater. The microwave and vacuum cleaner don't barely register. If you are curious, I am back-feeding the inverter output to the breaker panel through an unused breaker, sized below the inverter limit. If you do this, be careful to NEVER connect both your shore power and inverter at the same time (e.g. open the shore power breaker before closing the inverter breaker). I also turn off breakers for unnecessary loads like A/C, battery charger, and water heater. Now I am looking at soft-starts for the A/C. Based on running current, I really think this inverter could power one A/C if the starting current were moderated.BUY THIS.

Good to have just in case.
Haven’t had to use it yet. Tested with a 560 watt load it maintained 117 volt output.

Worked until it did not .
Am using the inverter to power my Internet and security system on my boat through a solar system. At the present time it is working fine. Some major concerns are that the manual is basically useless. There are three fuses included in the package with out any explanation of where they go or when you may need them. There is no place on the outside of the unit to replace a fuse. Am guessing they are inside the unit but manual says to disassemble the unit would void the warranty.Any support is in China so that is not encouraging so hopefully all works well. This is an update on this 24v 3000w inverter. Everything work fine until January 12th 2024 when it stopped producing 120v. It was located at a remote site, so when I got to that location I found the inverter completely dead and at the same time it would not allow the solar panels to charge the batteries. I removed the unit from the install.Upon contacting SUG Power, I was told they needed a video to assist in helping solve the problem. When I told them that was not possible they referred me to Amazon for an exchange.I would have been happy with an exchange but the best Amazon could do after 6 months of use was to offer a refund less a restocking fee, which I accepted and have received.SUG Power and Amazon were as helpful as there policies allowed and I am satisfied with the finial outcome.I did not repurchase this item.
