Works great! Light was about 3" away from stones. 4th picture shows lighting in room.

I'm sure it is a great product for someone maybe looking at slides in a lab setting but barely highlighted any of my crystals that uv way better off the $10 urine searching one my mom has so to each its own just wasn't a good fit for me 🥰

Upon opening and reading the instructions, I learned that the lamp should ideally be switched on for at least 15 min at a time otherwise frequent on/off will reduce the life of the lamp. I find this a bit of a dilemma since the batteries last for 2 hours, and I tend to frequently on/off the lamp for quick TLC check. I think this is unsuitable for my use so I sent it back and got a full refund with no issue.

This helped diagnose my child's ringworm on the side of his face. The long blacklight bar on the side is the correct wavelength to cause ringworm to glow green; it has to be this wavelength in order to detect ringworm, other blacklight wavelengths will not work. Doctor confirmed it was indeed ringworm.
