Accurate enough for clinical use
Exactly what you need if you just want to show someone what their lower spine actually looks like. Lightweight, right size, easy to display and store. Good quality, seems durable. Not flexible.

Not Bad For The Price Point
I'm a Massage Therapist and I'm starting to do more Orthopedic assessment and treatments (which is where the Medical Massage community is heading) so having these models is useful for me when explaining certain conditions and their specific treatments to my clients. I agree with another reviewer that the bulged disc isn't as accurate as I'd like but I can explain this to my clients. It would be nice if the discs were spongy (they are hard plastic) and if the bulged disc actually ballooned with pressure (as I've seen on some models) but I expect I'd have to pay more for that. At this price point, it will do for my purposes.

Have a seat, it's Show and Tell time.
Finally, a perfect visual aid to explain what on earth is going on with my spine. After trying to purchase an extra spine model from my neurosurgeon without luck I found this one that is just as nice as his. Honestly, it helped me to 'see' the discs and nerves that are involved in a way that a 2-D image cannot. It's also pretty cool as a general display and oddity.
