Handy tool to have on the farm
I bought this for my husband. It’s so easy for him to cut the twine or the netting from the large round bales of Hay or Straw. The hook is so handy for him to grab the strings. One of his favorites

I am very satisfied.
The effect is really good. After using it a few times, I feel that the power is strong, the blade is sharp, and the hay is cut quickly and evenly, which greatly reduces the time of feed preparation. Before, manual cutting was not only laborious but also inefficient. This machine can process a large amount of hay at a time, which is definitely worth the money!

Cattlewomens Helper!
Cutting wrap off of bales can always be a pain for me, with this knife it helps me tremendously. The long handle makes cutting in one swipe much easier. Also is great to cut silage bag plastic back.

Durable product, awkward blade angle
I used this hat knife last season on and off. The length of handle is a little long, as juxtaposed with the angle of the blade. If the handle was a few inches shorter it would be less awkward to cut bales with. I feel a bit like I’m using an ax and often have to use two hands to control it while cutting. To be fair, I am a 5’2” woman and perhaps it would be better for someone with more height and longer arms.
