Grandson loved it
Not as sturdy as I expected its made from foam but my grandson was very pleased with it.

Excellent quality and design
The shields are very durable and well made. I bought two (the red dragon and the green crown) for my little boys over Christmas to go with the capes I bought for them in the same designs. Despite taking an absolute battering from the foam swords they have, I’m pleased that after two months there is absolutely no signs of wear, which to be honest I’m very surprised with. My boys have several official Lego foam swords and I can honestly say the quality of these shields is better, the designs are extremely detailed and even contain faux jewels inset into the foam. I am very pleased with the purchase, I will most probably need to replace the Lego swords by their birthdays in the summer so will be looking to purchase through Liontouch.

These Liontouch toys are not inexpensive, but they're also not flimsy, cheap junk. They're made from very sturdy foam that has a hardened surface which can stand up to some abuse. My son is 5 and has played with both this shield and the accompanying sword for months now and they still look almost as good as the day he got them. The detail on the artwork is quite good and the faux finish is well done to make him feel like it's truly a "metal" knight's shield. I think as adults we tend to overlook such things, but I can tell it makes the play all-the-more-fun for him that they're so realistic looking. Overall, a great toy that's actually worth the money. Wish there were more like them!
