Pebeo 036100 Porcelaine 150, Set of 10 Assorted China Paint Outliners, 20 ml Tubes

I recently discovered Pebeo porcelain paint, and I love their line of products! I’ve been using their paints and markers with some success , but some of them aren’t opaque and go on watery. These outliners are completely opaque, and the colors are incredibly vivid. I’ve painted a few mugs and plates, followed the curing and baking instructions, and they are COMPLETELY dishwasher safe. They are not however safe to use with scrub brushes, which I mindlessly used, and thankfully realized my mistake before it was ruined. I highly recommend theses porcelain outliners and the entire Pebeo 150 line of paints and markers.

I love these. Was a bit skeptical after reading some of the reviews. After I figured out the tubes have a protective film that needs puncturing they worked like a charm. They might need a little kneeling to mix the paints after sitting. But I am happy with my purchase.

I love Pebeo and was happy to see the color selection for the outliners. I havent worked through all of the colors, but one or two had a very weird consistancey - plasticy and hard to work with. Overall, I love this set, but the few colors with the weird consistancy keeps it from a 5 star. I choose Pebeo over many of the other thermal set paints for china. Peboes colors come out vibrant and jewel like.

I'm giving it a 5 star even though my experience was more of a 3-4 star. I read the reviews before I used them so I was aware that people had problems with the tubes exploding. That happened with me with the first color. I quickly realized that the tube is metal not soft plastic like tooth paste. You have to apply even pressure from the bottom to get a steady flow and not bust the side of the tube. On the one that did burst I smoothed the side and applied regular tape to keep it from coming out. I've used it several times and have not had any problems since. I agree that the paint goes on much brighter than it dries but for me that was not a negative. I also took the advice of others -- once I had decorated the glass gems I let them sit over night to be sure they completely dried. The next day I put them in a cold oven and set the temp to 300. Once the temperature reached 300 I set the timer for 40 minutes. When the timer went off I turned off the stove BUT LEFT THE GLASS GEMS IN THE OVEN TO COME TO ROOM TEMP. This is important. You don't want your glass to crack because of extreme temperature changes.

These paints are tons of fun. I've been decorating mugs for gifts and these work great! Be sure to keep the tips clean because they are a pain to clean out if the paint dries in them.

I love these. Except my copper color was dried out and I could not use it at all. All the other colors are great though.

Have used this before & loved it. The sets I ordered recently, though, had a couple of tubes in which the paint had set up & wouldn't flow. Also, the lighter colors washed out during the baking phase, so had to be re-done over a white base.
