Q: I have one of these and it’s started to squeak after the 2nd use when moister got in the hinge. How can I stop this?

If you know which hinge is "squeaking", just get a can of WD40 Specialist High Performance SILICONE Spray. Make sure it's this one, and NOT the usual blue and red tin (which is for use on metal parts). The WD40 SILICONE one is for use on Plastic, rubber etc. I would NEVER be without this!! You can buy it off Amazon too!!

Yes, there is. It is the Shark S6005UK, which is a mop and handheld. It's also called the SHARK LIFTAWAY STEAM Mop, where the "body" part of the steamer just lifts away, at one simple press of a Button, from the main mop stem. It just clicks back into place on the mop stand when you've finished doing your "surfaces"

Q: Can I use it on a vinyl floor covering?

I use it on vinyl floor. Tiles come up superbly clean.

Q: How easy is the pumping on the white&blue manual pump model? Is it a pain or do you not even notice?

I don’t even notice it, I love this machine, it works really well. Only gripe is no on/off switch, you have to turn it off at the plug, but it’s a minor detail
