The machine is powerful yet easy to use.
The BISSELL ProHeat 2X Revolution Pet Pro is an excellent carpet and upholstery cleaner, especially for homes with pets. It removes embedded dirt, pet hair, stains, and odours very effectively. The machine is powerful yet easy to use, heats water quickly, and leaves carpets noticeably cleaner and fresher after use. Despite its strong performance, it’s lightweight and easy to manoeuvre. Overall, this is a reliable, high-performance carpet cleaner for pet owners. Great results and well worth the investment.

Excellent. Bissell carpet cleaner
Lots of options available, decided on this cleaner as had a while ago, another cleaner by this manufacturer and was very good. Ordered and delivered the following day, well packaged. Good instructions and very easy to assemble. I've used it 3 times now, on the express treatment option, my carpets are about a year old and the longer clean was not needed, added to the fact the express suggests a quicker drying time. Good length power cable. Again, easy to operate, with provided cleaning solutions. Very good results and drying time was OK. I chose a very warm day so, windows and doors open, that helped. Haven't used the hand held cleaning facility yet, but looks very sturdy and im sure will provide equally good results. Sorting out the cleaner after was straight forward. Very good carpet cleaner and perfect results. Competitively priced. Recommend.

very pleased with prodcut !
very please with the cleaning ability, very easy to use and the removal of clean & dirty water tanks are easy remove empty and refill as and when required, simply pops back in when ready to use again. I would have given it 5 stars if it had slightly stronger suction power but maybe I'm being extra critical, comes withe all the extra heads for stairs and upholstery. Defiantly recommended !

Outstanding cleaner
Having had a Vax carpet cleaner the better part of 20 years, it was time to upgrade. After extensive research and reading, we opted to go for this Bissell cleaner, and have honestly found it to be outstanding. The three cleaning modes will tackle everything from cleaning up a slippage of tea or coffee or our elderly cat's latest accident, all the way through to the deepest clean. The build quality is excellent, the suction power in pulling up water from the carpet is superb - on the lightest setting, carpets really can be dry in around 30-60 minutes (although on the Deep and Max settings, you're obviously looking at a lot longer). We were concerned about potential damage to our fairly deep pile carpets having read other reviews, but that worry proved groundless, and the machine cleans the carpet without wearing on it at all. As some reviews have mentioned, really stubborn / older marks and stains may take more than one going over to clear them. I've actually found the best approach is to go for a Max clean the first time, let things dry out thoroughly, then review and follow-up with either a Deep clean or an Express clean to get things looking good (although the hall carpet needed to Max clean runs to get it looking decent). And, obviously, always vacuum before using this cleaner so that surface / loose hairs and dirt can be removed and the cleaner can get on with cleaning the carpet. Pros * Build quality. * Cleaning effectiveness. * Ease of strip-down for post-use cleaning. * The Cleaning wand for removing hair and dirt from the suction head - it's just a flexible piece of plastic, but worth its weight in gold when cleaning this machine. * Access to rollers for cleaning / clearing / drying. * Weight - significantly lighter than our old Vax. * Clean shot for "pre-cleaning" - with a light foot and practice, this can easily bring a spray of cleaning solution to bear on soil marks for better cleaning. Cons * Noise - this machine is loud. But so are all the others! * The accessories bag - getting the extension hose back into the bag can be tiresome, and the netting on the front of the bag can snag things when trying to remove them or put them back in the bag. * Stair tool - this just feels as if it is angled the wrong way when trying to use the main brush BUT the crevice and edge brushes are excellent. The cons here are all pretty minor, and nothing that stops us recommending this machine.

Excellent machine.
Very easy to use, did a good job on my carpet. It is also easy to clean the machine after use. I think it is good value,as you are getting two machines for the price, with the accessories for upholstery.

Purchase March 2021 and love it!
I brought this carpet cleaner when my beloved dog and cat were poorly( they had entered old age). Both were well trained but age and sickness caused accidents to occur. I tried many manual carpet cleaning substances but nothing really got the carpet cleaned. I was contemplating a professional but funds were low and this was an ongoing issue. So I researched home carpet cleaners and found this one fit my needs. Designed for homes with pets in, multiple settings and small enough to fit under the stairs. Amazon also had a pay monthly at the time so this also fit my financial needs. The settings are express, deep and max. I’ve tried all three settings and am glad for the range. Express means I can give the carpet a quick clean and it will be dry within the hour. Good for when people are coming over or fancy a freshen up. Deep to me means the heavy trodden areas have a better clean or small stains are removed. Takes longer to dry Max is when the carpet is truly soiled or there have been accidents. This takes far longer to dry. Ie completed the clean at 2pm and was still a little damp the next morning. (Average temp outside 14 degrees centigrade.) the results are far better. I purchased the cleaning solution that was advised and found that my carpets were finally cleaned. I was a little horrified when I first used it to see how dirty the carpet was when it gets regular hoovering and manual clean. However like anything in life if the stains/dirt are embedded it might take a few goes to get rid of them. Cleaning it after use is also fairly easy. Most of the parts come of super easy and are convenient to clean. Wait for them to dry then pop them back on and store Well worth the money, a little effort and time will get your carpets looking great again. Tip: vacuum the area meticulously prior to washing. Also vacuum in different directs to get all the loose dirt up first. Also go slow when washing. Gives the cleaner a higher chance of getting all the grim up.

Easy to use and very effective.
Fantastic cleaner, I used it for the first time today, and it did a wonderful job on all my carpets. The quality is really good, and it is easy to use. I used the supplied carpet cleaner and it worked a treat. I checked out a few different YouTube videos on this particular model and it ticked all the boxes for me as I had stains on my bedroom carpet, 6-year-old carpets that we looking really dirty. I have some handy tips. 1. The bottom collection bucket fills before the top one empties. You will notice straight away when this happens as the water stops flowing properly. 2. You'll see how dirty the water is in the bottom collection cup... I recommend 2 or 3 further passes with just water... this will get your carpet even cleaner with each extra pass. I really like seeing all the dirt get sucked out of the carpet and when you empty your container you see how much dirt it has cleansed and it gives good satisfaction when I pour the dirty water down the toilet. My carpets now look really clean. When done, I recommend cleaning the dirty party with a hose in the back garden, then let them dry before piecing them back together. Excellent value for money as it is cheaper than buying new carpets.

This works! Not tried on the stairs yet. looks a good kit and will be very easy to set up.
Sceptical, of course, after trying others and usual claims. However, we have tested this machine on various carpet thicknesses and recommend this but qualify that below. This is hard work on the toughest setting, for us old ones, stupid enough to get another puppy! Tried to dry out patches and use pads but even so the house was turning into a sewage works. Thought long and hard about this investment our much cheaper 'V' machine failing pretty rapidly as it leaked, a very common fault it seems. This Bessill machine fills with hand hot water, ie. not nee boiling but seemed fine with pretty hot water from our combi tap. Just made drying pretty fast. If you use express, it is fine for carpets or rugs not looking soiled but more stale. The strongest setting gets deep down and really does remove a lot of soiling. However, it is all in the technique of using the machine to effect and that took both of us a while to conquer. when to pull the trigger for extra water and how to dry it off as much a possible. We squired going forward and pulled back to dry off. On a hot day in September, the express washed carpet was dry in under half an hour. The soaked and repeatedly gone over highest setting was still slightly damp the next day. The thing is that she stains will not budge and if the machine has not cleaned the rug or carpet, after pre-spraying and using the maximum setting then it will not clean just through repetition. Some rugs that had never been shampooed, like the one passed on to us about 35 years ago by my brother, good quality wool, was a revolution. The colours jumped ut and it was only treated fairly quickly. The pet stained carpets just did not respond but had been dried off a bit and sprayed with Extreme. Somehow, they stubbornly stayed as they were. Note that if a carpet is damp to the feel after repeat passes, it could take over 24 hours to clean if thick and wool. I would never attempt more that an express clean on a day that is average summer or winter. Damp carpet is not a smell to make a home seem welcoming. But, our home is smelling pretty good now. We are sensitive but even the stubbornly stained areas were fresh smelling. It is hard work. No getting away from that. However, this machine did our whole house, most of which was not that bad but definitely had had a puppy attack now and then, and we ended up very pleasantly surprised and happy. The puppy has hardly wet the carpet at all so it seemed to cure that. (Does not bark to go out and just stands by a door then will run away and do a wee of she is desperate. We have antique rugs, modern wood quality wool ones as well as some cheaper ones. All did very well with this machine. It did not use up water and shampoo at a huge rate at all and the brush really did its job with thrash out the dirt. Pre-vacuumed all the areas treated, just before shampooing and yet it was quite surprising how much dirt came up. Cleaning the brushes and sides of the working area first took us a while to work out the techinique but then it was a doddle to scrape the brushes and force the same tool to retrieve wet hair and fluff. All in all, if you despair at first, you will quickly work out the best way to treat each area and I am sure that you will be pleased. The three little bottles of odour removers and pre-treaat were quite good, the main recommend cleaner perfectly adequate and we bought the special pet odour pre treat but have loads left.
