Suit gets bigger once in water
I was really excited about this suit. It seemed to fit really well when I tried it on dry and I expected the fit to change a little when I was in the water but the chanhs was more significant than expected.. it was so big that it created a lot of drag when I tried to swim and it became very uncomfortable. I missed the window to return it, unfortunately, as I didn't try it in the water until recently. I would have loved to get a size smaller but it is now showing as unavailable. Quite disappointing. Just make sure it truly is the right fit before you miss the return window like I did.

Bottom too loose
There are many things I liked about this suit. This is my first wet suit so I wasn’t quite sure what to expect. With the water getting colder with the season, this suit was great in keeping me warm. You can’t even feel the cool water touching your body except for a few spots seeping in around the zip area. It was very easy to get on and off, and molds to my body. Now comes the however—like a few reviewers mentioned, the problem is the bottom part. Top part is so snug it takes a bit to get used to but the bottom is extremely loose and rides up very high. As a result, it feels like it’s flappy in the water, keeps riding up to the point of not enough coverage and traps air/ water bubbles which made me feel extremely self conscious. After much consideration, I just don’t want to deal with that given the price paid so I’m returning it.

Excellent!
This is an amazing little suit. Felt great in the water. A wetsuit should fit tight and allow little to no flow of water once you are fully immersed. This suit was snug in all the best ways and provided incredible warmth I’m given the core only coverage. I paired this with a 2 ml jacket and a little 2 ml hoodie and I was actually almost too warm while diving. If you have a butt (and I do) the bottom is about mid coverage. If you are looking for true fully coverage bottom, this might not be your preferred style. For me it was perfect. High quality stitching and zipper. This will be my go-to base layer for diving from now on. Way more comfortable and easy to move layering versus a true shorty or full wetsuit.

bottom of suit does not fit well
At first, the wet suit was very easy to put on. It is very attractive. However, the problem I have with it is the bottom part is long, leaving an open area-requiring a bathing suit bottom to be worn underneath. I am 5"4" and 138. I do have a short torso so this suit would be best for someone taller and a longer torso

Small size fits like a small
i use this suit for weekly water aerobics. I am 5ft 110 lbs, 34-27-35 apple figure and short waisted. The small size fits snug but it is not uncomfortable and I am very glad that I did not order the medium as it would have been huge on me. One reviewer commented on the seat of the suit rising up a bit on her backside and having to pull it down. I find this is true for me too but it is not that bad at all. One of the reasons it may rise up is because although the overall material of the suit is tight and snug like elastic (it is basically a wet suit after all) the leg openings are not reinforced with extra elastic as some regular bathing suits would be. All in all, this suit more than fits the bill! Addendum! After using this suit about 4 times now, I just noticed a small tear that is beggining half way up the side of the zipper....looks like I will only be able to wear it several more times )-: one reviewer mentioned that it was Italian-made and, well, the brand Cressi may be an Italian name but inside the suit in bold letters it says, "made in Cambodia" .

Love this suit!
I love this suit!I will buy it again!!!!!!When we were in PV we were adopted by the crew of Cielito Lindo catamaran. This is the boat my husband and I got married on November 02,2014, Ever since my husband and I go there a couple times a year(when we can) so unside track... We go out on the boat a lot...one day in the mornings when it was cold... and I did not have a jacket with me because we were going to be on the boat for the full day....I was planning on just using this suit for swimming later that day... I put it on to keep warm... after that day.... for the next week and a half I put it on for both whale watching as well as diving later the same day,I love this suit and will buy it again!

Perfect for open water swimming!
I use this suit over a regular bikini to swim open water in Hawaii. Its just the right thickness for the water temperatures here and Ill be in the water all year round, any time of day. Ive used it for 2Ks more or less and I was not hot or cold. I think the water is about 75 degrees this time of year. I had been looking at surf wetsuits but I think that this is probably the least amount of drag that a wetsuit could possible create. The high neck doesnt allow much water to come in the top and its got a lining around the neck that prevents chaffing. It does not constrict my shoulders at all. Its easy to get in and out of and it looks good on. I would wear another suit under it though because the butt is pretty tiny. Go up a size for the same reason. I'm 5'9" 138lbs and I got a medium. Its not as tight as a regular competive suit but I couldn't fit in a smaller size. I love that there are suits like this made for swimming, that arent too much wetsuit like a surf wetsuit or a tri suit.

Short in the Body
I bought the XL size last winter. I'm a size 12/14 overall tho my bust is nearer a size 16.It's a decent fit, looks good, and feels great for winter outdoor swimming. The front zip is practical. I swim all year round and still found it warm enough, especially nice on my back when water only a few degrees. Paired with boots and gloves you still have enough bare flesh to feel the thrill! But it is way too short in the body and rides up. I wear a black bikini bottom underneath which make it decent but that is a disappointment. For its 2nd winter I may pair it with some neoprene swimming shorts for a bit more warmth ( and coverage!)I kept it as it was a reasonable price and I wanted a neoprene swimsuit rather than a wetsuit. Though I see this year Cressi now doing a cheap front zip shortie wetsuit if you want more neoprene for your money.

Fits well, looks good
I've only just received it today, haven't tried it in the sea yet, but it seems to fit well, material seems very good. I'm size 12 with larger breasts, 167cm tall, I'm a bit squeeed in the chest area, but overall size 4 fits me well and I feel good in it, I think size 5 would be too long for me.I originally bought a size 12 shorty wetsuit from another brand, it was way too small, so I ordered a size 16, that fitted just about right at the front, but it had long sleeves which were way too long and baggy and there seemed to be too much room around my lower back, so I was worried too much water would get into the wetsuit. I'm so happy I looked again and found out about a neopren swim suit, I'm taking it snorkeling to the Red sea and looking forward to testing it out. Some people commented about crotch being too small and cut too high around the bottom area - the crotch seems fine for me, larger then my nickers anyway, cut doesn't seem too high, I mean it doesn't cover the whole of my whole bottom, but it certainly doesn't go as high as a thong would, seems like a regular swim suit cut in this area.I hope this helps anyone.

Perfect for open water swimming through the winter
I bought this last October and have used it (over a swimsuit) to swim in the open water all winter. I have used wetsuits but find them uncomfortable (at the neck) and a hassle to get on/off. In comparison this is super-easy to put on and doesn't impact swimming at all. With gloves/socks, it was sufficient for me to be able to swim during cold weather in London. And, in comparison to a friend who swam with just a swimsuit, typiclly enabled me to keep going at least 10 minutes longer during the coldest periods (Dec/Jan) and avoid the stress of getting seriously cold. All in all, a great compromise. I am usually a 14 on top 12/14 below. The L fit fine (maybe a bit big at the butt, but not especially gappy).

Shame about the fit of the legs
I should have believed other reviews regarding the high cut of this swimsuit. At the back it rides up horribly which might be ok for those used to wearing a thong but not for me. It's a shame as it was otherwise a great fit. Size S for a size 10/12 5ft 7 tall was a great tight fit. The price was good too. But sadly it has been returned and I bought the Cressi Idra instead which is twice the price but a much better fit - see separate review.

Brilliant suit !
Fits perfectly. Ordered size V . Am 5' 4" , size 12. Really comfy. Keeps core warm in cold water. Utterly delighted especially as the suit was on offer when I purchased it....has subsequently more than doubled in price. Thoroughly recommend if you want to keep swimming outdoors as temperatures drop
