Good Carrier For Money
I was a little unsure about purchasing this carrier due to being concerned how secure it would be on the tow-ball. I had read other reviews so i decided to try it for the money. The carrier arrived quickly. After unpacking it looked pretty robust, but was unsure about it fitting securely. I attached it to the tow-ball and after following the instructions tested it by putting my weight (12 st) onto it and it didn't budge. I got it to carry 2 bikes which it will do quite easily. The only downside is depending on the style of your bike the bike can slope to one side which is the only problem I noticed when you went over large speed bumps, one of the wheels would catch on the ground, this was easily solved by removing the wheel, which isn't ideal but for the price and overall product is a minor inconvenience . the only other slight downside is you are unable to open the tailgate when the rack is attached. Overall I would recommend this product, for value for money and sturdiness.

Great product for price
Lightweight but of a reasonably good quality. Clamps on the towball securely and I have put most of my body weight on to test for rigidity and that it doesn't slip off the tow ball or have any lateral movement. I incidentally have a grease free tow ball, I don't think a greasy ball would help as it relies on friction! 3 bikes do fit on, but better as a 2 bike rack. You will probably need to buy a trailer board to legally use this rack, however these can be picked up now for about £15 plus a number plate, so factor this in before you buy. Packs down to a smallish size and I am keeping in the boot as a just in case. Good news, no assembly required as it all folds up in its box and opens out without any fiddly nuts and bolts. I believe the description states this can be used when towing. I cannot see how unless you undo the bottom bracket and attach onto the towball and bolt through but being in the caravan trade, I would not recommend this.

Rubbish! Is not a Universal fit, doesn't fit swan neck towball now expensive to return
Looked like a great piece of kit but it doesn't fit a swan neck towball which it says it will. Now very expensive to return. Have given up trying to order anything reliable from Amazon and heading to Halfords to buy something I can try first. So disillusioned by doing all my research properly then still being sold something that was completely misleadingly marketed. This is NOT a Universal fit. DO NOT BUY.

We'll worth the money
I read the reviews and on the back of that i bought one. I can confirm it fits on a swan neck towbar solidly. And I mean solidly. At £30 I expected to modify it a bit to beef it up. It doesn't need it. I've had various bike carriers over the years, this being the best by far. Im a tight wad Brummie, My company car had a towbar from new. It would cost way more to stick on a roof rack, and then the bike carriers. For £30 I feel like I should of been wearing a mask. As others have said, if you are on the market for a towbar mounted bike rack, £30 really is all you need to spend. 6 stars...

A sturdy design and good value, but needs modded!
I took a chance on this due to it's compact size. It does fit easily to by Bora ball hitch and is sturdy; I was skeptical at first as to whether it would remain stable on the hitch in transport but it's pretty solid. The red mounts and tie-down rubber straps are decent quality and in principle seems to hold a bike on well. The real issue is that a 54" racer just manages to fit it, a 50" racer goes on with a fight but it will not accept a childrens bike. Also, when a bike is put on, there is no way to stop it swinging back and forth under accelaration or braking as the bike 'pivots' on the mounts and bangs into the rear of the car, causing scrapes and chipped paint. Bikes also get scraped easily. The rubber straps take a lot of manual strength to secure the bikes properly. However, there is a 4-part solution. 1. replace the six mounts with plumbing pipe insulation and gaffer tape for the two bars (and the other metal parts if needed). 2. Get or make up velcro straps to tie the bikes down to the arms. 3. Get a short ratchet/tie-down webbing strap and thread it through the wheels and frame to secure the bikes to the carrier uprights. This stops the bikes swaying. 4. To prevent paint chips, try a thin ply or plastic board between the carrier and car (could use cable ties to fasten it on) or some padding between the bikes and car or between the bikes where they touch. I think it's a good, sturdy design and good value, but not quite thought through, hence the 3 stars.

Good cycle holder for a good price
Fits fairly easily (if not that quickly) to my tow bar and still allows me reasonable visibility out of the rear window. I have fitted 2 adults bikes to it with out any problems but have not yet needed to try 3 but think it looks just about possible. Used it to transport bikes to the Lake district and back from London without any problems and did not notice any obvious change in fuel consumption either. The only downside is that it does block access to the boot and it is not possible to take the rack of with the bikes attached (at least no way that I have yet discovered) so boot access when transporting 2 bikes can be a somewhat drawn out (taking the carrier off) or acrobatic (clambering over the back seat) process. Overall however, very pleased with it, especially for the price.
