AVLON Keracare 1st Lather Shampoo, 32 Ounce

I'm a fan of this product. It doesn't take a lot to use ans lather into the hair. It also leaves the hair soft,fresh, and clean, also detailing free for the kiddos when you use this product on there hair. This product can last awhile if use right. I give it two thumbs up

My former stylist recommended KeraCare products so between this and Mizani I don't use any other brand. What I love about the 1st Lather Shampoo is the fact that it is cheaper than standard shampoo products. The first wash is when you (if you're like me) break down the layer of oil and hair products that you are using to keep your hair moisturized. I barely get a good lather in with the first wash so it's good to have a basic product that can cut through the grease. I then follow-up with a second wash using my favorite shampoo product, whether that's the KeraCare Hydrating Detangling Shampoo or the Mizani True Textures Cleansing Cream Conditioning Curl Wash. When I use those products on my second wash is when I get a nice strong lather and can truly go to work at scrubbing my scalp clean. 1st Lather is a great haircare investment.

Keracare was my first clarifying shampoo. I enjoy the pool smell of the shampoo and how much it cleans my hair.

My hair is very difficult to tame. I'm African American, with very thick, chin-length hair. The ONLY product that has kept my hair in check has been from the KeraCare line. When these products are used at the salon, I always leave looking fabulous and my hair is also able to stay in that state for a couple of weeks even with washes in between. For that, I'm a happy customer. This 1st Lather does what it says. I only use it when I feel my hair is "too moisturized" or feels like it needs a good washing so I can get that light as a feather look after my hair dries. So, this product does just that and when it is used as directed, I can't complain. Great product here.

Meant as a cleansing shampoo for 1st lather, then I use the moisturizing shampoo. However, may not need as much if you use filtered water through whole house filtration system or faucet filtration system. The water makes a difference.

Awesome product. I use it to get the oil and excess products out of my hair. Excellent to use after wearing plaits and braids.....gets the gunk out from your roots.

This is my favorite shampoo. It really works when you work it! The first leather shampoo is the first product that you use when washing your hair. I always use this step when completing my hair regimen. It clears the hair of any oils so that the next step of lathering will actually get your hair clean. My hair is never stripped or dry. It always feels moisturized and soft. I highly recommend you using this product

I’m so glad I didn’t listen to the bad reviews on this shampoo “, I have micro locs and this shampoo did lather up on first use . I’m so impressed of how this left my hair and scalp clean I could feel the real texture of my scalp . I love this shampoo it’s made my wash day easier . I guess if your worried about it being drying wich I don’t think it was then u could follow up with a moisture shampoo . Only thing I would say is a pump would had been good on the bottle . Overall an excellent rich shampoo that will last me ages.

Excellent shampoo for relaxed hair. It cleans really well. All the dirt and grease just flows down the drain. Its shocking how much build up there is in just 6-7 days but this shampoo gets rid of it all leaving my hair feeling clean and smelling fresh. And it doesn't' dry your hair out.

Not sure what’s in this bottle but it’s not 1st Lather. The bottle cap is black and seal are not Avlon products... the contents do not look like 1st Lather either. Not good at all .
