Some how the vent clamp has fallen apart after only having the mount for a few months. The clamp broke with no tampering or strenuous driving conditions. Poor product quality, and the magnetic piece for the phone doesn't work well unless it's attached to the outside of your phone, or case. I tried to use mine between the phone and case, but it continued to slowly slip off the mount.

Used with my iPhone 8 Plus, phone constantly falls off under hard acceleration. And after about a month the grips holding it into the air vent have become loose so no longer holds into the vent and I am unable to use, looking for a better replacement. Do not recommend.

What I was looking for was a mount that was flexible both in terms of the orientation of the device and the placement on the dash. I also needed to be able to charge while it was in the mount, and that the device would not bounce around too much. A note here - apparently I'm a lot more sensitive to the shaking of the display than lots of people, because I haven't found very many mounts that will hold the screen reasonably steady. I've gone through a lot of mounts and I think I've tried all of the different types: dashboard / weight mounts, air vent, cup holder w/ arm, cd slot mounts and window suction cup mounts. Inside every category you'll find good and bad builds, but generally the shorter the distance from whatever is holding the phone and the mount point, the better off you're going to be in terms of stability (a cupholder mount with arm was about the worst) - but getting right next to the mount point usually costs flexibility in terms of the device orientation (you can't switch between landscape and portrait mode). The best balance of all my requirements was the vent mount. Latching onto the vents was a stable base (vs. a cd slot which was wobbly or a stick-anywhere mount which came unglued after a while). There are enough vents in cars to give you some flexibility in terms of where you put it, and they're all generally at the right eye-level (you don't have to look down to see it). I went through ~5 vent mounts before I ran across this one which is the best I've found. The grippers are solid and work well. It's one of the only vent mounts I've used where you could pull the device straight off without pulling the vent mount out, as opposed to sliding it off to one side or the other. Still a good practice to slide off so you don't damage your vents. The arm is short so it's stable, and there's a pivot so you can spin the device around easily. If you like vent mounts just buy this one, just remember if you have cheap vents don't pull it directly off.

aber es hält erstens sehr gut in der Lüftung und zweitens mit dem Magneten das Telphon. In jede Richtung drehbar. Bester Halt mit dem gelieferten Metallplättchen, das ihr auf das Telephon kleben müßt. Haltbarkeit konnten wir noch nicht prüfen, aber da er 30 Jahre Garantie gibt, hier 5 Sterne, und so gesehen ist auch der Preis in Ordnung.

Ich habe die Handyhalterung nun ca 6 Wochen im Einsatz und bin wirklich begeistert. Ich werde nie wieder etwas anderes verwenden! Das Produkt hält absolut was es verspricht, super handlich und leicht, somit auch zum verreisen geeignet, der Halt im Lüftungsgitter ist einwandfrei und das Magnet - Plättchen auf der Handy Rückseite kann ich absolut verkraften, bzw merke es gar nicht mehr.
