My go-to brand of masking tape
Frog Tape is my go-to masking tape, I purchased the yellow as a replacement and I also use the green and orange versions depending on the surfaces I am protecting.I use this yellow one mainly for masking over wallpaper, it sticks well but most importantly comes away without any fear of tearing or damaging the paper. Obviously, it is important to remove it as soon as possible and not leave it on for long lengths of time.

Works really well, I find it better than the green.
It's a good width, doesn't allow bleeding under the edge. Sticks well and is easier to remove than the green, for me anyway.

Quality Finish.
The best tape on the market. I purchase the yellow tape as I find it gives a better finish without pulling off any paint.

Still ripped a load of paint off
Used this whilst painting our lounge. The tape goes on easily, straight and has decent adhesion. However, even when used as outlined just leaving it on for the shortest time possible, it was still ripping off newish paint and also the old paintEnded up having to go over everything again without using tapeProbably wouldnt use again and would just freehand

Supposed to be low tack. It isn’t.
Not being a very good painter I used this to mask the wall above the skirting boards I was painting and down the sides of two doors.I was hoping for sharp lines and as it’s supposed to be low tack it didn’t damage the vinyl emulsion on the walls. The paint had been on the walls for about three years so I assume it’s pretty dry by now. Removing the tape is easy enough but it brought great chunks of emulsion off with it. Not what I expected and I certainly would caution anybody who is doing a similar job to mine. To be honest it doesn’t even feel like low tack tape. Disappointing.

Still occasionally lifts the paint
Bought this after originally buying the green tape, don't buy that, buy this. The green tape will strip back emulsion to bare walls when you take it off even if the paint has been there for years. This will generally not do that. Used it on paint that is only 24 hours dry and the odd spot has still lifted but for the most part works really well.Masking off would be so much easier if people built straight edges in houses! A little fiddly to try and follow ceiling lines which might not be exactly straight but sure that is a user issue rather than a product one!
