Good quality and works!
I got this to replace a battery that had less than 70% charge in it.The replacement process was straightforward and didn't require any instructions, thankfully. If you've ever opened a laptop before and replaced a component (HDD, SSD, RAM, etc.) this was only slightly more challenging. Dell made the process as easy as they could while allowing the laptop to retain a decent size. If you do not have much experience opening laptops and replacing components, using this replacement battery to replace your defective battery may be a bit challenging and you should seek assistance, in my opinion.I was very glad to have the tools included even though I did not need them, but had this laptop never been opened before, the plastic pick included would have been so greatly needed to ensure the chassis is not damaged by metal tools. I did not use these tools during this process as I have my own and my laptop had been opened before, but greatly to have them included with the replacement battery. After installing the replacement battery and closing up the laptop chassis and then turning on the laptop, it did take a moment for my OS to notice the new battery. The laptop would not boot without being connected to power and once in the OS, the battery indicated 29% charge and did not move from there for several minutes. After a few minutes, the battery began showing 11% and then climbed to 57% before I turned off the laptop. Checking the health of this laptop in my OS, my laptop reports this has a 98% health rating which is still decent for a replacement battery like this.

Works as advertised, can get through a full day again
Very pleased with the extra battery life provided. Installation was not difficult, just be patient and follow one of the many guides available online. I would rather spend a few bucks to get through the school year and summer than emergency purchase a new laptop. Also, might make some of that money spent back when selling.

No issues. Good battery.
The battery was easy to install in my Dell laptop. There were no installation instructions, but there were instructions on how to charge the battery once installed. YouTube had several videos showing how to install the battery.

Easy installation, battery working perfectly, getting an all day charge.
I used this kit to replace the battery in my son's Dell XPS 13 9300 laptop. The original battery was no longer holding a charge. This kit was very easy to use. If you can use a screwdriver, you can do this repair yourself. You simply have to remove the backcover of the laptop by removing the screws. Then disconnect the flex connector from the old battery and replace the battery. Entire process took about 10 minutes.

Does not hold charge
Bought to replace battery that could not hold a charge. A day after installing it did not charge past 70%, now it does not even hold a charge at all. Laptop only turns on if it is connected to charger and it does not charge past 0%.

Review and Installation Hints
This battery was easy to change. It fit right into my Dell XPS13 9300. Dell wants $139 for basically the same product. You’ll find videos on YouTube that show step-by-step instructions. All the required tools you need are included. Seems to be the same quality battery as the Dell brand, but you can’t be sure about what’s on the inside. It took me about an hour to install and put things back together. It arrived with a charge of about 60%. It charged and emptied just fine. After several charges, the Windows battery report reported full battery life. I have the model with the 4K touchscreen, so it eats through batteries quickly. When I first got the computer, I got about an hour out of the battery, now i can get a full two hours. So, great product at a very reasonable price.A couple of hints I will mention. Work in a clean area and keep your screws in two separate cups that won’t accidentally tip over. Be careful to use the right size torx tool so you don’t strip the screw heads. When taking the bottom off the unit, if you haven’t opened the case before, it will seem stuck. Don’t use your fingers to try to separate the case. Use the spludger (it looks like a guitar pick). That will save you a lot of possible pain in your fingernails. Make sure the battery connector is pushed on fully. A pair of tweezers may help with this. While you have the unit apart, use some compressed air to clean the computer inside and out, especially the fans. When putting the case back together, make sure that you seat the ports on each side of the computer before pressing the unit back together. If you want to check the computer before you put in all the screws, just put a couple of screws in the battery, snap the case back together, and check the machine out. I hope these hints helped you out.

kWh life
This battery was fine out of the box, lasted 8 months holding at 55,966 kWh at full charge capacity. Starting 5 days ago, the full charge capacity went from that 55,966 kWh to 31,897kWh. Also when it hits 22% charge, it drops to 0% and shuts down within 30 seconds. Not a good product.
