Stylish
Yes, it is expensive for a juicer, but its also a work of art.

Beauty as a function
Excellent, menacing, aesthetic item.

Design Icon, very mindful and demure
Don’t put it in the dishwasher! I lost the gorgeous sheen and now it looks all matted - like an alien spaceship that’s been through a meteor shower. That said, I love the simplicity and how it feels to use. It’s got a satisfying heft to it too. Value for money? Honestly, it’s art - so it’s subjective but I recommend it!

Beautiful - and super easy to clean!
I remember when in Y2K this squeezer was in every pretentious interior design magazine and we used to make fun of it being "effortlessly" placed in a visible spot. However, once I had a chance to actually use it, I found out how great and convinient and fun to use it is. I drink a lot of lemon tea or just water with lemon, and with any squeezer it makes for an annoying cleaning after every use. This one though takes literally 3 seconds to rinse, and it's perfectly clean - plus it is always at hand as it looks so cool you can leave it standing around. The only fault is the lemon pits fall into your tea, but I don't mind it so much as the other factors are more important for me. Quality is amazing as always with Alessi, and it comes in a nice box too. Makes a perfect gift (for yourself too).

Great sculpture, poor juicer
A great work of art but a poor product as an actual juicer. Stick on your kitchen shelf and imagine aliens are invading your dinner.

Expensive but beautiful
OK let's get past the obvious point: we owned a plastic juicer that does the job perfectly adequately, but I still paid a lot of money for this. Worth saying that if you want one, hold out for a sale and get some money off - this is a want product, not a need, so hang fire and get more for your cash. I love it, I think it is supremely stylish and love the aesthetics, the look, the feel, the lot. It also works very well juicing fruit. It is easy to clean too - just never put it in a dishwasher. One tip for the top, the teeny rubber feet come out very easily - I would suggest a spot of superglue before you start using it, just to keep them secure. A tiny point though and not worth docking a star for.

Beautiful design. Overpriced for this quality
Excellent design. Made by cheep aluminium. Susseptible to corrosion by air. It the instructions suggests to wash with water only. Can't use washing up liquid. For this price I would expect better quality of material.
