Disappointed with discolouration
This is a lovely kettle but….. after only 3 weeks use the handle is discolouring. Very disappointed as I use it probably three times a day maximum ( it is not in continuous use). From minimal use I feel it should look like a 3 week old kettle, not years old!!!!

So far so good...
Decided to ditch the electric kettle to a gas hob one to save on electricity. Used for a month and already saved a few Kwh! Great kettle. Easy to descale.

Very well made
Very pleased. Takes 30mins to boil on a little gas cooker when full. Great whistle so you don’t have to sit and watch it.

the black (shiny) coating is coming off
pleased with the kettle when it arrived the look is good and handle and opening of spout lid easy. However after only a few weeks the outer black shiny coating is peeling off and now have two spots on kettle where metal is showing through.
