Haven't installed it on the wood boiler yet, but built the assembly waiting for a warm day to hook it up. Seems to be constructed well and and fairly heavy. This is a identical setup to what is currently being ran to heat a 6000 gallon underground storage tank. The other wood boiler is smaller and we used a 40 plate as an proof of concept. No complaints as far as efficiency! If I remember correctly, 170⁰-180⁰ boiler water goes into the exchanger comes out around 145⁰'ish. The other side comes in at 56⁰ and goes out around 78⁰ish. Roughly about a 20⁰ delta throughout the entire heating process. It will bring the storage tank up to about 120⁰.

Just finished my install and have had it running twice. So far I have been very satisfied. My closed loop is running at 150 degree F and my open loop target temp is 120 degrees F. I started with 2,000 gallons of 48 degree water during my first test and raised the temp to 100 degrees F in about 2 hours. I still need to insulate the HX and all of my pipes.
