Q: Is this transformer equivalent to a Czjuitai Model no. JT-240v0300 primary 240 volt-50hz sec 24v- 300ma 7.2va

I'm no electrician. I bought mine to power xmas tree lights. As it transforms the 'mains' 240 volts down to 24volt and the supply rating is greater than needed I believe it would suffice. The problem to prevent is trying to use an underpowered unit which would destroy itself if too much demand was made upon it, you are safe going the otherway as the transformer will only supply what is asked of it. Excuse my layman explanation.
