Cute Farms Terrarium Starter Kit | Moss, Vermiculite, Soil, Pebbles, Plant Food, Finishing Tools, Build and Care Guide | DIY Succulent Terrarium for Adults and Kids (Large)

Came with a TON of resources! I was able to build my terrarium easily and loved the little additions it came with!

As you can see, I’ve already started using my kit - I ordered the medium kit, and have enjoyed it so far. I still have quite a bit of the supplies remaining, and there is definitely a generous amount of both moss and vermiculite provided, as well as some soil, larger smooth gravel, and some soil. Also included is a spray bottle of plant food and a chopstick for placing/“poking” inside your terrarium. That chopstick definitely came in handy! The container in my photo is about 5 inches across the bottom; I prepared it with a generous layer of moss over some vermiculite and gravel, and have more than two thirds of my moss left in my kit. There seems to be one primary type of moss included, with smaller amounts of others. Mine even included a small stick with a bit of lichen in it! I appreciate the three cute little dinosaurs included, too, and together with my air plants, it makes a nice little scene. I appreciate that instructions are included for both air plants and succulents, which are the most common planting’s for small terrariums.

I used to like Terrariums when I was younger so I got this as a gift for someone to start their own. I was also able to find a nice enclosure on Amazon as well. Has really everything you need to get start plant wise.

My kid wanted to build his first terrarium and this kit had everything he needed minus the jar. A month later and everything still looks great!

I looked for the perfect fairy garden set for a few days. I looked on Amazon, Target, Walmart and Zulily. I really wanted a good selection of moss, soil, and rocks. The selection of these items was the perfect combination for what I needed to build my terrarium. Some of the other selections online didn't have everything I needed. Some had just moss, or a nice selection, but only in very small 1 oz. qualities. This product had everything I needed in one order, and had just the right amount. The dinosaurs were a bonus. Everything came perfectly packaged in good-sized containers. All items looked great and were packaged for durability. I just had a surgical procedure yesterday, so I will try to post of picture of my finished product once it is finished. This is my recuperation project to myself.

READ THE CONTENTS OF WHAT YOU ARE ORDERING. MY PICTURES include MY OWN plants, MY OWN gardening materials MY OWN additional sack of succulent soil. Review: I purchased this kit to plant a small spineless cactus optunia. It’s probably around 3 inches high (ordered it separately). I also had 2 rooted “Hobbit Ears” succulent and a succulent flower. All plants purchased separately. I said the kit was almost perfect because I wish the containers had labels and instructions on it. And the main instruction card seemed vague. Also, for the size I ordered for this one, “large”, the soil is NOT enough at all. I used a separate cacti soil I had to order and even that said, I used a lot. It was fun building layers and topping everything with moss, and putting your dinosaurs in your finished terrarium. So it runs a little expensive. I was happy with the outcome but now that I think about it, it costs a pretty penny with the large kit alone and buying other materials separately.

Nice large kit. It was easy to use, soil is very fluffy and nice for my new succulent mini Garden . I got a terrarium also here on Amazon and 20 different plants for it. All came in perfect condition. I just planted all this together and very happy how it looks.
