Fiskars ProCision Bypass, Plastic/Metal, Rotary Trimmer 12", 12-Inch

This is quite easily the best trimmer I have ever used. It cuts through tough material like chipboard and magnetic sheets like butter, but can also trim the smallest sliver from even printer paper. I can absolutely say I love it! I'll hopefully edit this review later as I see how the blade lasts over time, but for now I'm saying bye-bye to my other paper trimmers!

Recommended by Helen Griffin UK crafting. Best trimmer I’ve ever used. Lightweight, no replacement blades needed, better markings than most competitors easy to use, and much cheaper than cutterpillar pro too. More stable with the double rail and nice to have the finger guard to hold paper still.

I bought this specifically to cut my 12 x 12 papers for album making etc . It’s absolutely fantastic - it folds away if you wish to store it and you don’t need to replace the blades . It’s very accurate and simple to use.

This trimmer is expensive, but I have to admit worth every penny. At last I can cut straight! I don't need to spend on new blades, as it is a 'bypass' trimmer and sharpens itself. So already made a saving on a not having to replace a blunt blade. Easy to use, clear measurements, and can be used without having the extension fully out. Sturdy and clean looking.

i bought this trimmer as i have not yet found a trimmer that gives me a perfect straight line. i don"t know if its because I am a lefty or not. i follow that artist/designer Jen of Eve on Youtube. she suggested how brilliant this trimmer is. i have only tried it out a couple of times. it really lives up to what i expected. I have waited a very long time to buy this, I think it is a considered purchase as it is not the most inexpensive of trimmers. it is solidly made and i think its going to help me when i go to my next project!

This is a wonderful trimmer. I have problems with arthritis in my hands and arms which makes cutting difficult at times. I have tried test cutting lots of different papers and card including chipboard and it cuts through everything so easily. My best purchase in a long time.

I owned one of these previously , and it lasted 4 years, this one lasted 2 months.. the spring mechanism dislodged.. but to be honest it’s only held in place by a stupid piece of plastic.. so I’m not suprised it kept pinging out! This model had a blue swirly design on it.. the one I had previously didn’t.. so I’m presuming there are 2 different types of cutter.. my advice is.. don’t buy the the one with blue swirl !! It’s no where near as sturdy as the previous design

As described, cuts well and cleanly with various materials including thick card. Also really accurate for larger paper whilst being compact to store

I am over the moon with my cutter. I must admit I had to get used to it, but love it. I’ve been looking at getting one for a long time. Cuts so much easier than the normal trimmer. You can get the smallest slither cut off your paper with no drama. Look forward to not buying blades all the time with this being self sharpening. Best purchase for crafting by far…and cheapest on Amazon!!

Es una herramienta que me ha encantado, corta muy bien y he logrado cortar (con un poco de fuerza) cartón gris de 1.5mm. la base fija bien y no se mueve fácilmente, la cuchilla gira y se desplaza muy bien, el seguro para las hojas resulta util aunque no hay que olvidarse de quitarlo. Los detalles que puedo mencionar son que al no tener toda la plataforma de medida corrida algunos cortes se dificultan, uno debe agarrarle maña para calcular cierta medida que es donde se pliega la base. también hay que calcular el ras del corte ya que no es justo donde acaba el plástico que asegura las hojas, hay que ver la cuchilla inferior para más o menos darse idea por dónde pasará la cuchilla. Por lo demás cumple bien su cometido, hay que procurar no meter muchas hojas a la vez ya que me ha pasado que la cuchilla se atora o carcome el corte pero son situaciones que se controlan teniendo paciencia con los trabajos que se realizan. Recomiendo el producto.

Jag är väldigt nöjd med denna skärmaskin. Stabil. Rakt och skarpt skär. Måtten och linjerna är förseglade under plasten. På mina tidigare har de legat överst vilket gjorde att de nöttes bort. På mina andra rullskärmaskiner har det inte varit rakt mot kanten utan man har fått gå efter linjerna. Liite stor i uppfällt läge men det överväger det som är bra.

Wollte diese papierschneidemaschine erst einmal nur testen aber ich muss sagen ich bin richtig begeistert. Sie steht sehr stabil, lasst sich leicht umklappen und verstauen und das schneiden ist auch toll. Sicherlich ist sie anfangs etwas schwerfällig beim schneiden aber da gewöhnt man sich dran. Und sie schneidet wirklich durch jeden Karton, Pappe, tonpapier etc. Für feines Papier würde ich sie eher nicht verwenden, da reicht auch meine andere klassische trim-Schneidemaschine oder hebelschneidemaschine. Diese hier ist wirklich eher für gröberes. Im übrigen kann sie wegen der Schwerfälligkeit auch mal haken, was unschöne Kanten macht. Aber das passiert nur wenn man sich zur Maschine hin falsch positioniert oder falsch abstützt. Somit kann dann eine Richtung ( von oben nach unten oder von unten nach oben schieben) schwieriger sein. Es hat eben viel mit der eigenen kraftverteilung zu tun. Ich z.B. habe bessere Resultate wenn ich von oben nach unten schneide, weil ich eher beim unteren Ende (und nicht seitlich oder so zur Maschine gerichtet) stehe. Ich find das Teil gut und werde es nun tatsächlich behalten.
