Very good collection of some real classic "sweet and swing" recordings for cosy midnight jazz listening. Four legenday performers with a nice mix of big orchestra as well as small jazz bands containing Benny Carter, Coleman Hawkins, Duke Ellington and Benny Goodman. Can be recommended for everyone interested in the classic 30s period of swing music.

I’m a hard rock/metal guy at heart…but have pretty broad musical tastes, including a strong interest in blues, jazz, and various other genres. Probably 10% of my music collection is devoted to low key, very chilled out, relaxation music of various sorts. Some is jazz ballad stuff, after hours/smoky blues, atmospheric Americana. THIS, however, is something a bit different…and a real treat. It not only relaxes, it takes you back in time to a much simpler era. If you’re a fan of old movies, you know what I’m talking about. There’s something about being transported like this that I find calming and mind clearing in the extreme. Real life in 2022 is, sadly, anything but. Enjoy!

The music on this CD is not what I expected but that’s only because I didn’t research the songs. They seem to have a 1930-1940 flavor. That doesn’t mean I won’t listen to them though. As far as sound quality, they sound great. The higher quality of the music along with extremely quick delivery means this product deserves 5 stars.

This album is not exactly what I was looking for but it is very relaxing. I heard some twenties-style jazz in a restaurant which I really liked. Unfortunately, couldn't sample enough online to know if this was the same one. Sound is clear, not tinny.
