What a great book! It's so well written and had such an original and refreshing take on the murdered parents/found family trope. The characters were all fleshed out and relevant to the story and I was really rooting for everyone! I'd love to read more about the KITs too! I also have to say I usually figure out early on in a book who is going to be the bag guy or what twists might be coming, but I truly didn't expect the reveal at the end! Very well done and I would love to read more of this authors works!Edit: I completely forgot to mention how much I LOVE the ghosts! Such an interesting concept of multiple personalities and written in a way that made sense but also made you think!

Just finished this book, saw a TikTok about author and had to buy it to support! It was a great murder mystery with stunning twists at the end! I really enjoyed the main character Leigh’s growth and spirit. Definitely recommend. Thank you Shawn for the wonderful read!

I bought this book because I saw it on tiktok, but let me tell you it did not disappoint!!! I highly recommend this book to anyone, its intended for a youth audience but let me tell you I am an adult and i completely fell in love with the book, this book definitely made me forget that I was even reading. It is extremely well written and interesting, I absolutely love it. The book is also incredibly quality, the pages are very thick and large with larger print making it so easy to read. I would also like to add that the author and his wife are absolute sweet hearts! They are truly amazing people, I met them at an indie author event and the author signed my book, both him and his wife were absolutely incredible, they were definitely the sweetest people Ive ever met. If the author has any event in your area I definitely recommend you going out and supporting if you can, because they are the nicest people and will make it worth your while for sure!

I bought this book on impulse, and I’m so glad I did! Had me interested from start to finish. It was hard to put down as I couldn’t wait to see what was going to happen next!

The entire time I was reading this book I just kept thinking ‘wow I hope they make this into a movie’ - the book was so catching, I never wanted to put it down. So well written that I felt like the pages were taking place as scenes in my head. As someone who is a mental health advocate, I felt for Leigh Howard and wanted to keep hearing her story all the way through. This author created such a wonderful book. If you are a lover of murder mystery’s this is a must read!!

I genuinely loved this book. It was great from start to finish. It held my attention, the story progressed at a great pace, character development was fantastic.

Love the story behind this story. It was a fun attempt at a first novel. Entertaining and sweet, a clean story with a twisty past.

A wonderfully written whodunnit story, that makes you eager to find out what Leigh will do next. Every chapter I was left with a growing curiosity, and I could not have seen that ending coming. A great read for teenagers and young adults, for sure!

It has been long over a decade since I've been able to pick up a book and read hungrily. The book pulled you in from the beginning and there wasn't a moment that you wanted to stop reading. The twists, turns, and unexpected events kept you on your toes, your heart racing, and mind totally engaged. Beautifully written, a joy to enjoy, and I actually cried a little bit at the end as I wanted it to go on forever!!!I am someone who is Autistic and has ADHD. It is very hard for my attention to be captivated like this. Extremely hard. Mr. Warner has achieved the near impossible with me. If he keeps writing books of this nature, my absolute favourite kind of genre with happy endings, he will not only go far, but he will absolutely have a return reader. Thank you, Mr. Warner, for an incredible gift.

This was scary without being jam packed with ghosts. The twists in the book are unexpected. Certainly held my attention.
