HeatnBond Adhesive
This worked great for my pot holder projects. The bond was really strong/sticky and easy to use. Love the way it left my pot holders looking great. Was worth the price

Incredible value and an awesome product for iron-on patches
I've used this for both patches that I've bought without realizing they were sew-on, as well as on patches that I re-heated with an iron to remove and relocate (Usually when doing this, the iron-on adhesive still works, but sometimes it doesn't!). Anyway, I bought this stuff on a whim. I can't believe how well it worked, or much you get for a mere three bucks. Amazing! In these photos: 'I was a Teenage Werewolf' was a patch that had no iron-on backing. 'Sorry We're Dead' was a patch that I moved to a different area of the jacket, and most of the original adhesive stayed in the old spot because I didn't heat it up enough before peeling it off. Amazon is asking me to give specific stars for 'Thickness' and 'Stretch'. Don't seem relevant... Not sure why, but... This stuff isn't thick, but I don't see why it would need to be. It has plenty of adhesion for my uses. Stretch? Not sure of intent of the semantics here. It doesn't physically stretch.... That said, there is so much here though that I can certainly stretch it's use. It's super-easy to use: 1. Using scissors, cut out an area slightly larger than the patch (or what you're trying to bond). 2. Place your patch on the ironing board face down. The HeatnBond sheet has a paper liner on one side. Put the glossy side of the HeatnBond you cut out on the backside of the patch that's facing you, The paper side of the HeatnBond should be facing up, towards you... Iron it to seal it to seal the shiny side to the backside of the patch. 3. After it cools, use the scissors to trim the edges of the HeatnBond that extends beyond the edges of your patch, so that it's the same size as your patch. Peel off the paper so the adhesive is exposed. 4. Flip the patch over and place it on where you'd like it to be. Iron it 5. Let it cool before moving the jacket (or whatever it is you're working on). You're done. Roughly a 5-10 minute process. Easy Peazy. 6. After it cools, and the jacket (or whatever) has moved around a bit, you 'may' need to hit the patch with an iron again. That's not a fault of this product. That's pretty much standard practice with iron-on patches. You often need to hit patches with an iron 2-3 times between the first 2-3 times you wear the clothing until they are really bonded. To summarize this short novel: Great stuff... an absolute steal at $3!

Great bond!
These Boy Scout patches wouldn't stick no matter how I ironed them (and yes, they are supposedly iron-on) so I bought this Heat-n-Bond for these and any future patches and it worked perfectly! Cut out a piece of product, iron onto backside of patch, let cool, trim any excess, peel off paper, place onto uniform, then iron front side of patch. All done! Super-solid bond and took about 3 minutes total.

Works decent but you may need to layer 2 or 3 times.
It bonds and melts well but is a bit too thin if you expect it to fuse into most fabrics. Following instructions and using precise temperature press and checking with a NIST Fluke IR Gun it barely held very tight weave cotton together, it is just too thin. To hold normal fabrics and bonding things like patches, etc. expect to layer it 2 or 3 times to get decent penetration and adhesion. Then it works fine.

Bonds two fabrics together
This is one great product. It bonds two fabrics together easily and quickly, so you don't need to sew them. It is easy to use and holds well. One great product and reasonably priced. So glad I found it.

It doesn't work on jeans or thick material
I made a patch from jeans. It worked well when I ironed on the paper to the backside of the fabric, but it didn't work when after I peeled of the sticker and ironed on. It didn't stick at all....

I haven't washed my item yet, but the adhesion works well. Instructions in English, French and Spanish on the packet. Very simple to use. I used it to get more wear out of a linen garment that was going thin in places, by adding a patch (thin cloth) inside the garment using this bonding material. (I had tried iron-on interfacing first, but the product I bought completely does not work, so this is Plan B to get another season's wear out of a beloved garment.) My packet arrived with a 10-cm slash through the front of the package, meaning the slash went through two layers of the folded product. On examining the packaging, I can see that somewhere in the mailing process, someone slashed the entire envelope the package came in and then taped over the slash. I have no idea who did that; could have been the Post Office in my country, so I didn't return the product. The product is folded in the package; I had no difficulty tracing the shape I needed, cutting it out, and ironing it flat. It worked - ironed down - perfectly well even with the slash in the product. No problems. Happy with my purchase of Heat-n-Bond Ultra Hold Iron-On Adhesive.
