The salt cover has some weight to it so you need to use it in a nice tight socket. The cover has a rubber or silicon bushing to keep it snug on the fixture while allowing for expansion due to heat.The bulb is a common e12 size bulb which are easy to find on Amazon or locally. I mention this because in my other full size salt lamps the heat buildup tends to wear out the bulbs once in a while and they need replacement. No problem, changing the bulb is easy in those and in this.The on/off switch on this one is a bit fickle. When it is on, it takes extremely small movement of the switch to turn the lamp off. The switch does not seem to be getting warm so the contact is good, but just a light little tap to the off side of the switch and the light turns off.Overall, this is a nice, small scale version of a salt lamp which allows it to be used in a variety of less obvious places for night light. I only with the switch was a higher quality.

Love this salt lamp night light. Works great just plug into outlet. Nice soft light not too bright. Great for air purification as well. No complaints.

This night light is absolutely perfect for my bathroom! It provides a nice, warm glow, but is not too bright. The Himalayan Salt Crystal is very heavy so you need to make sure you have a tight outlet to plug it into. The base can withstand the weight, but may drop out of the outlet over time. Also, the crystal can get quite warm while it is plugged in all night. I specifically selected a blank wall so that it would not heat up anything around it.The night light arrives well packaged in a nice box. The night light is shrinkwrapped inside in a protective layer of plastic. I love that they provided a little bit of information on the exterior of the box it arrives in. This makes it very giftable without you having to describe the benefits of the Himalayan sea salt. I feel really good about having the extra benefits in my home, especially in the bathroom as it is supposed to help cleanse and deodorize the air, as well as reduce allergy symptoms.

This night light is a very sturdy, heavy nightlight. The salt block is solid, and is very heavy. Luckily, the base is durable enough to accommodate the weight of the block of Himalayan salt. This nightlight gives off a very nice orange glow and gives your room a very warm, comfortable look when it’s lit. The only issue I had with this nightlight is it does get a bit warm. I think it’s fine and given the extra distance that this nightlight gives you from the wall, it is very safe. I just thought I would mention that the nightlight does get warm around the block of Himalayan salt in case it would be placed by draperies or furniture.

I have always wanted a salt lamp but just never got one. Recently I needed a night light for a guest bedroom and when I saw this I just had to try it. I am so happy I did. The light is quite heavy but the 3-prong plug gives it ample support. The light swivels so you can adjust it to fit any space. The soft salmon glow is warm and lovely. The entire light is a salt rock so I don’t mind it being visible. I would definitely recommend purchasing this for your home.

This rock salt nightlight is super cute and calming to have turned on right before bed to relax and distress. It’s actually a little too bright to sleep with but perfect ambiance before bed. It is a little heavier than I expected so I thought it might fall out of the socket but it has a little third prong on the bottom to hold it in the wall better which is nice. It also doesn’t get very hot at all when left on for a while like most lights which is nice. This Little Rock salt night light is the perfect addition to any room especially before bed. Overal 10/10 would recommend.

We put this in a large bathroom - provides enough light to avoid turning on a light at night, and also allows for a spa-feel when taking a bath. Everybody who visits comments on it. The glow feels very natural, fills the room with earthy warmth, but doesn't feel harsh even when looking straight at it. Will definitely get more for our use, and also as gifts.

Nice…but…I bought 2 and plugged 1 in to test it. The salt is so heavy they have added a plastic prong to the 2 prong plug in for support.When I pulled it back out of the outlet…I dropped it 2 feet onto plush rug and it totally broke apart.The actual workings are very fragile.So I have put the salt cylinder on a window sill so it catches the natural heat.The 2nd one is working well as a calming, pretty night lite in the bedroom…but I will be very careful if I ever have to move it.
