Oxford Reading Tree: All Stars: Pack 3: Clever Monkey

Not only was my 6 year old daughter able to find it easy reading, but she had trouble reading it, simply because she could not stop laughing. The book is beautifully written and it is really two books in one, so great value for money. The servicewas fantastic right from first ordering and on till the book was delivered, which was on date and on time. Anyone wishing to buy books through Amazon, should get on line and do it, as I fully recomend not only the book but the sellers as well.

I received this book today, it was used and in good condition, however it had been stamped on the inside by previous owner - an infant school!Haven’t given it yet to my grandson, I am sure he will love it, just disappointed with the stamp.

The All-Stars series is aimed at more able infant readers who are ready for short chapter books. This set of Gold bookbanded books is suitable for the average child towards the end of Year 2 (age 6-7), but the content is appropriate for so-called 'high flyers' from reception upwards. My son read them at nearly 6 years old. All 6 books have 5 chapters and 32 pages.They are:Squirrel (a true story; our favourite from the set)Robot's Special dayCharlie StoriesSnow trollThe Lazy GiantTerry Takes Off (Volcano Valley dinosaurs book, like Cosmo for Captain from All-Stars set 1)They come with teaching notes (aimed at classroom use, but good at home too).Shop around for these. ORT books are very hard to find below (expensive) RRP, but Amazon always has sellers offering them for better value.
