Larger than 6mm
Actual diameter of the file body after the short tapering at the end is 6.8mm , so be careful if you actually need a 6mm file

Good file but seems to wear a little quickly.
I have put this file to hard use. It works well and is comfortable to grip for prolonged hard use. However it seems to wear a little more quickly than l anticipated hence the four stars. For the money l paid for it it is very good value.

Good for the money
Managed to snap this using it to file out a hole but I suspect that was my fault. For the money it worked and filed out the holes ok (with the broken half I had left).

Excellent value
I bought this file for a specific task: to elongate the holes on some M10 A2 stainless steel washers so that they would fit onto an eBike axle, which required a hole 10mm wide x 12mm long. This file made short work of the task and was filed the sixth washer as readily as the first. I have no idea whether this file will last for years and years, but I suspect it will be fine to keep in my toolbox for the next time I need this size round file. I'm very pleased with this purchase.

Handles needs gluing in, then it's OK.
The handle keeps coming apart under hardly any pressure. Needs apoxy gluing in.Apart from that it files well

Good quality and value for money
Good quality item... good value I noticed one of the reviews mentioned that the handle comes loose I've not had any issues with it if I do I will just glue it on...This does exactly the same as any other round file that's two or three times this price so I would definitely recommend this item

Tidy file
Used to debur a 10mm hole i made in suspension mount and did it no problem at all.Good grip on handle ( mines not loose at all )Great for the price.........
