First off the one thing that I always want to know about buying a journal is "Does it have a contents page?" It doesn't say in the description, but yes it does. About 4 pages so you can fill it in. The pages are pre numbered so I liked that as it saved me time having to number them myself. Page thickness is really good and paper quality matches that. You can use a felt marker and it won't bleed through. The cover is a nice leather feel, but you can put stickers on it and it won't fall off. I really liked the color, it was Fun new fresh take on the boring old black ones. I waited for it to go on sale for less than $10 bc I can't bring myself to pay more than that for trees. Value for the money was more than worth it. It's durable and the outside doesn't scratch easy. It's been thrown around here and there and still maintained its integrity. Very well built I'd say. I'm def going to purchase different colors. I liked that they offered a variety of off colors like yellow and the forest green. I'd def recommend one to anyone.

This journal is beyond amazing. I went and bought three more after using the first for only a couple months. It has every feature I could possibly want:. smithsewn instead of gluebound meaning it is made to last.. sturdy cover. two bookmark ribbons. pre-numbered pages. lightly dotted pages. acid free. ample sized table of contents.. thick, no bleed paper even with my sharpie felt tipped pens (which is very rare indeed).. smooth, no grit paper allows the ink to flow freely.. a pocket in the back. a strap to hold it close. a pen holder on the side.I seriously don't think I will ever buy another kind of journal again.

The media could not be loaded. I like the way the book feels in my hands. It is substantial and has a lot of pages. (315!) There is a table of contents feature as well as a sturdy pocket in the back. Mine came with two fun little stencils! I use my book to doodle using alcohol ink markers. These markers do bleed through the paper, so to prevent damaging other pages I use a piece of watercolor paper cut to the size of the book as a shield. I have taken this little notebook with me many places and while it has sustained some cover damage, it still looks great and is in great shape. For the price, this is an excellent value.The rubber band closure helps me tuck extra papers inside of it without using them, and sometimes I use it as an additional third bookmark. There is a stretchy pen holder loop that will accommodate many different sized pen types. The table of contents is so wonderful, I can write down important page numbers to find easily later!I love the green cover

This is my first time trying bullet journals, so my experience might not be the same to someone who has done them for years. I think overall this book works well! Spent a weekend setting it up (for a book reading journal) and it seems to (so far) hold up well. The little pocket in the back, the added stencils, and the elastic strap are all nice touches.It does lose a star though, because the paper IS thin. It doesn't cause HUGE problems, as I am using plain pens, but in a few spots a more dark gel pen DID bleed, meaning the backside is now covered in white out to make it useable. Just keep that in mind, if you like to use gel pens, or I am sure markers/paints that are more prone to bleed.

This is the perfect size for my schedule/journal needs. I also take notes in it. Wish they had the red and purple ones! I have the yellow currently.I've had absolutely NO issues with bleed through, so the paper is plenty thick....and even difficult to accidently bend if it's face down and gets caught on things as it slides. It stays intact, neat, and flat.

I recently started getting into a category of drawings called zen doodle. Silly name, but so of the drawings that people have done are just absolutely beautiful! Plus, I also make mandalas too. A big part of the mandala process is making a template. Now, I'm kinda cheap and by that I mean I'm not going to be buying paper that already has everything mapped out on it. So, I started looking for a good notebook with graph paper. Believe me, it makes the whole process so much easier.I was lucky enough to find this beautiful hardcover journal with graph paper at 50%off! I couldn't believe it!First, I love the cover of this!! It's very soft and the color is just beautiful! Plus, it very strong and sturdy. It comes with a pocket at the back that has little transparent sticky notes you can use to divide different sections of this however you want, which is awesome. The paper is fantastic!! I only use fine line drawing pens and maybe a Sharpie S-gel pen for my drawings and none of them have bled through the paper a bit!! So, if that's the case, then the paper has been be a decent enough thickness. I am so very happy with this journal/notebook or whatever you want to call it. It lays down flat for me to work easily anywhere I am, which is really nice.I will definitely be getting another one very soon!!

This is a nice journal if your primary goal is writing. It's paper is thick enough for a ball point pen, numbered, and has 320 pages. There is a reasonable lengthed table of contents in the beginning. There are two satin bookmark ribbons that are very secure. The stencils are very usable. The pen holder and elastic strap are holding up nicely after 3 months of use.A couple of warnings for artistic journalers. The paper is not thick enough to prevent marker or felt pen bleed through. If you intend to use mildliners or other water based markers, it will bleed. It's best to use 0.05 multiliners and color pencils to prevent bleed through. Micron and copic has a few colors in this size, just be careful not to push too hard as the nibs are fragile. I have also been able to use tape runner to add pictures and tickets over the bleed through. My washi tape works beautifully in the journal.
