These Rivers seem to be very well made the diameter of the is a little bit bigger than a cigarette but not quite as big as around as a dime but the thickness is about twice as thick as the dime and has plenty of elasticity in order to make a slingshot, actually the slingshots that you buy in the store has a much smaller rubber than these, so it will take more strength to pull back on the tension but it will send your projectile further as a result, I have already recommended these to a friend of mine and would recommend them to someone else, these are a great product for the for the amount of money they costs.

Hard to mess up surgical tubing, and this surgical tubing isn't messed up!

I don't know what the gold standard is for tolerances of latex tubing, but this stuff seems a bit on the fast-and-loose side. I got the 10 mm ID x 14 mm OD. Measured the ID to be 10.5 mm one direction and 11.5 mm the other because the wall thickness isn't constant all the way around. I needed this to fit over a 3/8" barb on one side and a 10 mm barb (practically the same size, 9.525 mm vs 10 mm) on the other and both are loose. Going to try and clamp it because it's not a critical application, minimal water pressure (a few psi), all it has to do is not leak. OD was 14.2 mm in the narrow direction and 15.4 mm in the wide direction. I measured at each end of the tube and both have an oval / egg shaped profile with similar oversized dimensions so I assume it's consistent throughout the length (there looks to be a twist in the cross section but I'm not sure if that's an artifact of how it was rolled up).
