Excellent Substitute, Wish it Was More Affordable
This pasta cooked up just as easily as any regular wheat penne noodles. Boiled for a few minutes until perceived al dente, no issues other than a little foaming similar to what I've seen when boiling beans (which makes sense since Lupin flour is legume-based). The structure remained sturdy while I mixed it into my dish, no evidence of re-hardening once they'd been exposed to the air for a few minutes, or any softening mushiness after having marinated in the diced tomato and garlic dish for a few days. The taste is different than wheat pasta (obviously, to be expected), but I did not find it unpleasant. No offensive gritty or graininess like whole wheat or oat bran pasta, but not as blandly smooth as regular pasta. The best way I can describe the overall texture is chewiness with stickier compressibility more similar to mochi dough than the regular more rubbery springiness of regular wheat pasta. I really enjoyed this pasta and I would be happy to indulge in it from time to time in the future. My only regret is it that it is not more competitively affordable compared to regular pasta, though it IS competitive compared to other dried high protein penne.

Not worth the money
The bag came open and contents spilled all over in thy box. They are terrible by themselves, but edible with soup or something with a sauce. They are just horrible the next day. Texture is mushy to say the least. If you have to eat them only make enough for a small serving..

Nice keto option for pasta cravings
I make this whenever my low carb diet sends me into pasta cravings. It is very "nutty " in flavor and takes longer (much longer) than traditional pasta to come to a sauce ready state, but it is very filling and satisfies that pasta "need' IYKYK... I serve it with chicken, whatever vegetables I have on hand, and make an almond milk/low fat cheese sauce. It's expensive, but a 2/3 (dry serving) is more than enough for a very filling meal and a little left over for lunch. You can get 4 servings from the bag.

Excellent keto pasta but expensive
Excellent Keto pasta. It tastes just like regular pasta, just a bit more chewy, maybe I just needed to cook it a bit more, but all in all tastes amazing! Made an alfredo pasta bake for work with it and it turned out amazing. Be careful reheating it though, it can toughen up quick. The only issue with this product is the price/serving. It is expensive for 4 servings. It needs to be buffed up with other ingredients.

ehhhhhhh
I followed the directions, and I actually cooked it for 2min less than it said to, but it was already so mushy that I took it out and strained and rinsed it immediately. I liked the idea of lupini pasta, but the reality is that it's too thick and doesn't hold together. I'd say it has a texture between gnocchi and pasta, and that's not necessarily a good thing. I think I'll go back to garbanzo pasta despite the carbs. This stuff has fewer carbs, but it just doesn't feel or taste enough like traditional pasta when cooked.

A Great Substitute for Regular Pasta
This pasta made with a flour I'd never heard of, Lupin, is really good. It's a great substitute for those on a keto dirt. It's meatier and heartier than regular pasta with a slightly sweet taste. I actually prefer it. Problem is, it's super expensive.

Terrible taste, texture good, tastes like cardboard
First...I hate to give a bad review as being in business is hard enough but... This product is costly and it kills me to throw it out but I just can't eat it again. Having been in food product manufacturing and also retail food service for over 50 years... No matter that it is low carb. If this is what I have to eat to enjoy pasta then I'd rather never eat pasta again. I'll eat almost anything...hard pasta, way over cooked pasta...burnt pasta...but this...I forced myself to eat a least a portion, used as mac and cheese Even the cheese sauce couldn't cover up the terrible texture. Looked like penne pasta but taste and texture is way off. I really didn't expect it to taste like pasta but this basically in my opinion is almost inedible. Makes me wonder if company has ever tasted their own product.
