Are the screws gold in colour as per the photo?

Yes they were gold coloured when delivered but the colour fades in time.

How many screws in a pack?

According to the review comments, there should be 100 screws in a pack but people received less than this (stated 90-98) so maybe they are packaged on the weight as many nails and screws are. E-mail the seller to enquire about this. I do not know exactly how many screws I received as it was too long ago, but I had enough for what I needed them for.
