Fit a 2016 forty-eight perfectly. The directions confused me a little bit, but that may have been user error. Either way it keeps the legs off the cylinder valve cover. The dark plastic is flexible and doesn't look cheap. Better than a weird leather or flush cover that would melt.

These were easy to install and the smoke color blends well with any color scheme. My engine runs super hot and these help a ton and have held up well. Thought they might crack, especially when I lean in with my legs but so far so good. I wish they extended over my engine another half inch bc on long rides it still gets pretty hot but otherwise they've been a great addition to my 2017 HD Sportster Forty-eight XL1200X.

I bought these to replace the cheap foil lined covers that had ruined my paint job. So these are transparent, which makes them look really cheap. I wish they were a solid black. I’ve only ridden a few times since it’s winter where I live, we will see how these do in the summer as to keeping the heat at bay.

Very disappointed in this product. It didn't even fit on my sportster. Despite the seller saying that it would fit on a sportster. In fact, only fits on breakouts and soft tail slims.
