Brilliant for walking boot repairs. Happy dog walker
Brilliant glue. As a dog walker I give my boots some beating walking all terrain. Now can restock the seal to the leather and make my perfectly good boots last a lot longer. Weekly clean and polish and check seal and clean out and glue any bits that are coming away from wear and tear. Sprung a leak recently and was fixed and water tight over night.

Good product but you need to know what you’re doing
There was no cap for this tube so had to be used in one go (which was ok as there was the right amount for one pair of soles and small heels). It said to roughen the sole of the shoe with the folded tool - there was no tool, I wondered if it meant the back of the cardboard pack (?) so I used my wire brush that I usually use for my dancing shoes. I’d purchased suede soles, they were big enough to cut off a bit for the heels as well. I traced around the shoe with a biro to mark where to put the glue. With hindsight I’d have put the glue beyond the drawn line on the sole. As it was I think the edges may come unstuck as I didn’t put enough on, but time will tell. I think I’d make a better job of it on my next attempt!

Repaired my Doc Martens with this perfectly
I bought this as part of some repairs on my Doc Martens 1460's where the rubber seal around the sole had cracked open and the glue in the sole itself was becoming weaker, It got to a point where if I held the sole I could pull it back a fair bit so I needed to get something to fix them up and I saw this recommended. Simply put, this stuff works perfect, I haven't got a 100% seal again but it definitely has kept it in tact. There is a bit of residue from the application which I did with the blade of a boxcutter (So I could fit it in the sole without tearing it open) and got that as deep as I could but some came out on the sides and I couldn't do anything other than smudge it around, nevertheless it has worked and held up now for around one month and I still have loads left in the tube, I've sealed it with what I had but be warned it does not come with one unless it explicitly has been bought with a top.

No seal else glue is fine
Conveniently no lid so use and loose

Don't throw those shoes just yet.
I have a pair of really comfy leather shoes and they were not cheap, so when the soles started getting thin I thought I would give this product a go and I'm glad I did. I saved loads of cash and gave my shoes a new lease of life. Make sure that you follow the instructions and do your shoe repair in a well ventilated room or like me outside. A great buy.

Failed to stick eCobbler heels
I followed the instructions diligently but the heels came off under the slightest pressure. Will try again but this time will roughen the heels and not just the shoe as instructed. If this fails, then I’m off to the cobbler PS. They will not accept returns on this glue claiming it is flammable yet posting it in an ordinary padded envelope. Not sure as to the legality of this but decided to try it out anyway. Looks like I wasted my money

Not very sticky.
I followed the instructions to the letter during the application of the sole to the shoe, making sure there was sufficient pressure to keep the sole firmly in contact with shoe whilst the glue dried. I then left the shoes for 48 hrs before wearing. On the plus side, one sole did not fall off for over 20 minutes and the other, whilst it came loose as well, at least remained partially adhered until I got home an hour later. I have given a whole 2 stars because some of you may only want something that works for 10-15 mins. If you need to walk for longer, or perhaps would wish to use a pair of shoes twice, I would instead recommend the cobblers.
