Bolero Essential Hydration Sugar Free Fruit Drink Watermelon 12 Sachets

Bought these for my dad who is diabetic. Tried them myself too. These are VERY strong in taste, and a very fine powder which dilutes very easily, so a sprinkle goes a long way. If I has to guess, I would say one sachet makes about 2-3 liters. I noticed that when you have it stronger in flavour it leaves a kind of dry taste on your tongue, which can make you feel even more thirsty. ( However, I NEVER drink anything with additives so this may be why I notice it) I suppose this is the sugar replacement aspect. I tried the watermelon and strawberry versions. Personally I think the watermelon is the most refreshing. I used about half a teaspoon per half litre of water.

I have tried most of the Bolero flavours now and I like them all except the Almond one - very strange to be "drinking" almonds. Out of the ones I do like, this is the best in my opinion. I have never eaten watermelon before so I am not sure how close it is, although a friend has and she said it was close. I just love the taste. The first sip I had, I was unsure. It had the normal Bolero "creamy tang" to it but I had not tasted the flavour before. By the end of my first glass I was licking my lips and pouring the second one from a chilled jug without waiting to get thirsty again. For what is essentially flavoured water, this is delicious.

This is the most delicious orange flavour I've tasted since childhood. My mum got it from Chemist. Now I've found it I will be buying as long as i can. It's delicious. We all love it, so refreshing & you choose the strength of the flavour. If you love orange. Buy it, it's cheap . & really worth it. Patricia welsh xxxxxxxxx

....very sweet tasting, also, personal preference (yet a good thing), means it's concentrated enough to make almost two litres per sachet. Despite being a little oversweet I would still buy again though.

My son wanted an alternative taste to the other Bolero powder we currently have and he said this one is nice. We normally mix up a part at a time to consume on bike rides. They mix well and taste fine.

Is disgusting. I would never buy it again. Too sweet, you can't taste only chemical flavour. Waste my 5£

Makes a lot of drink but the flavour albeit not being bad, it's definitely recognizable as grapefruit, just feels a bit too artificial.

Seit ich das erste Mal Bolero getestet habe komme ich davon nicht mehr los und rote Traube schmeckt super super lecker

Der geschmak ist sehr gut, das mischverhältnis kann man auf das doppelte erhöhen.

Weil Dosen nicht sehr umweltverträglich sind, war ich auf der Suche, nach einem kleineren Übel, für meinen Energydrink-Konsum. So bin ich auf Bolero gestoßen -- und ich LIEBE den Geschmack einfach!!! Es schmeckt wie Ahoj-Brause und tut seine Wirkung und gibt so vor dem Sport einen doppelten Motivations-Anschub. Zwei Kritikpunkte: Das Pulver schäumt so stark, dass das einschenken ziemlich lange dauert. Allerdings nehme ich auch anderthalb Tüten auf ein 400ml-Glas. Das führt zum zweiten Punkt: ich fände es super, wenn es auch etwas größere Verpackungseinheiten gäbe als die kleinen 7g-Tütchen -- eben um mehr Müll vermeiden zu können. Aber ansonsten -- mein absoluter Favorit unter sämtlichen von mir bisher getesteten Energy-Optionen.
