I have always loved Spanish peanuts since first tasting them fresh and warm from a kiosk at Sears. They have a different flavor than regular peanuts and even the red skin is fun to eat. Sadly, they are not easily available so I turned to Amazon and was delighted to find several versions (e.g., salted, unsalted, raw, roasted). I chose the unsalted version and am very pleased with the freshness and flavor. They came in a package and I transferred them to a glass jar. The only problem now will be to see if they last till the end of the month!

For many years I ate another brand of Spanish Peanuts but they changed the last 2 times I ordered them so I have been eating these instead. I like how they are shinny and not dry. They have a taste I enjoy. A couple bags had a few somewhat bitter ones. Not sure why but the last couple bags did not. After opening I place them in a tuperware dish. I'd suggest you place them in some form of container as well. If you want to reduce the amount of salt you could place them in a colander or strainer first and shake some of the salt off. Which is what I do.

My favorite peanut is the spanish peanut but I don't consider what I received a spanish peanuts. Lousy flavor and larger than normal spanish peanuts. These tasted very stale to me and totally lacking in flavor - even after I threw them into the oven to warm them. One handful was all I could take - even the squirrels didn't like them. Not worth the bother to return so trashed them.

OK, so I live in Florida. I opened the Spanish peanuts what I ordered. It was a 1 pound bag and the first part of the bag was really good. It’s perfectly salted as it said, but the further I went down inside the bag it seemed to peanut started getting like they were very hard like they weren’t cooked all the way, but I am a girl who loves anime. I am a diehard peanut girl, so it was shipped really fast packed really well and other than the issue about where the where the nuts roasted long enough I’ll probably be a little bit more cautious about it but overall, it was good. Ordered 4 packages and 2 of them were torn with nuts in the box. We have ordered before and will again but this was not good.Need a replacement
