The Holy Qur'an: Arabic Text - English Translation Leather Bound – 17 Dec. 2013

This is a beautifully printed Qur'an, to the highest possible quality. It's a nice handy size. My copy had a black elastic band that keeps the book closed, as well as a golden ribbon bookmark. The edges are guilded and the spine is black with golden print. This is a very practical Qur'an that will last a lifetime, since the pages are sewn and bound in a traditional manner (no glue). The print quality is excellent, including the slightly smaller Arabic, and the matt pages are not too thin. The covers are soft and have a smooth but leather feel.The translation is easy to read and does not use thees and thous but the more modern (but less precise) you.I have read recently that this translation and the notes are by Ahmadiyya Muslims. I am currently verifying this and will update my review when I have an authoratitive statement from the publisher.

Beautiful Qur'an the words are big enough to see , I have had about 4 Holy Qur'an's this one is the best and its the one that has led me to see that Allah is indeed GOD and Muhammad (PBUH) Is Gods prophet . I was a Christian but I had issues with Paul and started to investigate . I love this Holy Qur'an .

To deal with the more superficial aspects, this volume is leather-bound and beautifully printed . The translation itself is painstakingly accurate and flows well, unlike some other translations - which is as I would expect of an author with his academic reputation .

Easy to read and seems well translated into English, would recommend buying this if you are reading the Quran for the first time

Good translation.Reads well and it is a wonderful book. The Quran really is a guidance with clear messages for us to learn and improve ourselves.

Couverture rigide, tout est parfait

What I love about this book is that the author includes a lengthy introduction that goes into core concepts of Islam, which is great for beginners. It even has a small part about woman in Islam and how they are treated with respect and are equal with men. It also cites how the concepts of 4 wives is actually discouraged and it is used only in certain serious situations like for widows, especially in war situations. It teaches some Quran history, the concept of one religion, how the Quran came together, etc. It's a really enlightened view and expresses the basics with much beauty. The text contains the english on the left and the arabic to the right. I was looking at other Quran's like the study Quran (which I am ordering also) and it has the text and almost after every paragraph it has lengthy explanations of what you just read. This Quran is nice if you are looking to read something all the way through without having to stop and read all kinds of side notes. At the beginning and end, it already has very good notes, vocab, arabic alphabet, arabic words, arabic to biblical names, and much more. I highly recommend it! I'm even going to gift it to a family member whose a librarian. I bought the paperback and the leather back and I definitely like the leather back better. It's a tiny bit slimmer and easier to hold and it's got the classic beautiful biblical look with the soft leather, the gold book marker, and gold edged paper.
