Easy Setup but Smells a bit Musty
The blankets are quite musty smelling.. Which is too bad because other than that it seems like a decent little booth. I haven't recorded anything in it yet, so i can't speak to it's overall functionality, but the setup was very easy and I like that it comes with a bag. I'd give it more stars if not for the smell!

Oops. My previous review said the blankets were too small. They aren't. They just need to hang and stretch out a bit after being vacuum-sealed. The vacuum sealing is excellent, btw, and the apparatus that they included to be able to vacuum pack it all again is a thoughtful inclusion. Love the LED lights and the roof blanket. Until I can afford a full dead-room studio, this will be great. Well, as soon as the neighbors' home remodel construction stops...

Some budget sound control, but slightly wonky.
Works as advertised. However some kind of stabilizers are needed for the connection points. If I want to move the booth a little distance, the pipes are dislodged from the connectors sometimes.

Thoughts Offered in Hushed Tones
Expect to be delighted, but curb your expectations. The booth is all that is described. Easy and elegant to build, well conceived, acoustically designed to mute transients and produce a 'dead environment'. It is not, however, a sound-proof booth if you seek to fully mute outside sound sources. Likewise, it will not fully-mute sounds created within the booth. It will, however, create an isolated environment, ideal for music creation as an aside to its external environment. The sense of containment is extraordinary. I enhanced the lighting concept for a brighter interior. Other custom modifications were made to taste. This is a well-designed and implemented product worthy of your investigation and investment.
