Positive Adapter for Omron Blood Pressure Monitor

Good adaptor for its purpose. Please note that this adapter is NOT suitable for the SIMBR blood pressure moniter because the plug is not the correct size. If you are able to change the plug size for use with the SIMR,- please note that you will have to reverse the + and -ve lead connections.

I bought the adaptor with the idea that I wouldn't need batteries after I discovered that the ones I had in the device had started to leak. The monitor can be used with just the adaptor but the instructions say that batteries should be installed as well, as if not, it doesn't retain the record of readings when switched off. Disappointing in that way and the adaptor tends to go unused. I only take occasional readings anyway so the battery life is virtually their shelf life and I must remember to check them periodically.

The power supply came in the original form, even though I expected a replacement as it was on the seller's website. The parcel arrived undamaged with the invoice attached, which makes me very happy. I got more than I expected. I use My M7 Intelli IT and the power supply works with batteries inside and without batteries, which is a plus.

This machine has been great, it has bluetooth capability so it sends your bp to your smartphone or tablet and has a full cuff for the arm, its good quality and works from the mains electricty as well as batteries, but you have to pay more for the PSU which I thought was a rip off especially as these things are not cheap, other than that I am very pleased with it.

Simple and easy to use. Plug and play and works just fine. The seller also provides all the information you need, should you need to contact them for any reason. This is a plus point in my oipnion.

Read the reviews on this adapter and the most con they said was the lead was not long enough. I could not find another omron adapter anywhere. So i got this one. Yes the lead could be longer, but apart from that it is very good, good value for money. I would highly recommend.

Obviously larger than standard size it works well with people with larder upper arms...only disappointment was short life of batteries provided and problems with batteries generally - not connecting properly. Have now purchased a mains connection to solve the problem.
