Love this bin, very easy to use and clean. I like the way the lid softly closes without a thunk. You get 3 complimentary bags, but unfortunately they don’t fit, so won’t be ordering those. Other than that a very good bin and great value for money.

I bought this to replace one which was 30 yrs old, yes, that old! This was the main reason I went for exactly the same make and size. New model does not have an inside handle on the black interior bucket and no handle on the outside metal bucket, enabling safe uplifting, if required. On saying this, the product is still of sturdy quality and would certainly recommend. Not cheap but it is built to last!

Before this I had a very cheap plastic bin with a swing lid that got dirty every time I scraped food off a plate. This bin is great - works perfectly, easy to change the bag, looks very nice, stays clean! I love this bin.

Great little bin thst fits in a skinny 'nook' in the kitchen. Bought this to replace our previous Brabantia that lasted 15 years. New design has a soft closing lid which is nice, but the inner 'caddy' used to have a handle to lift the whole thing out and empty, the handle is now gone so emptying it is much harder, especially if its stuffed full. Not a good change but still the right size and a nice style for our kitchen.

I'm more or less 100% happy with this bin. Wish I'd spent my money earlier to be honest instead of wasting a tenner at a time for crap plastic bins. My example is perfect and flawless, really nicely finished (platinum colour which matches other items in my kitchen). 30 litres keeps a fair amount of rubbish and the Brabantia bags (which you can get off Amazon for about 15p a go, in packs of 40) seem great. They fit perfectly and are very easy to use. The soft close aspect of the bin is great, as is the inherent hygiene of a foot operated mechanism. The only drawback to me, and this could be described as a bit of a design flaw, is that the lid hinge is external, meaning the lid will bang off the wall if it is placed too closely. I'm going to fix this by putting something behind the bin so it physically can't get too close to the wall. So, a flaw in my eyes but not impossible to resolve. I'm really impressed with this nice, slimline, aesthetically pleasing bin.

I really like this bin. It looks nice, it's sturdy and good quality. I needed a small bin for our downstairs loo, as we had a big party coming up with lots of female guests, so I wanted a discreet bin with a lid, that I could put in there for anyone who needed it. It was perfect and fitted comfortably under the sink. I find it easy to change the liner and easy to wipe clean. If I ever needed more small bins, I would go for one of these.

I love Brabantia bins, I've three already so when I needed another one in my hobby room it was the first choice. To be truthful the old one was working just fine but had no lid so when a new resident came, who thought emptying bins was fun, it was time to buy a lidded bin. Fortunately he hasn't discovered how to open the lid with the pedal although I have discouraged by turning that bit to the wall. They might be a bit more expensive than other bins but they look good and they do last a long time. This one was quite a good price as well.

Arrived in perfect condition, fits in a small corner, height is great you do not have to bend to put trash in. Color is a muted pink very retro. I purchased the Brabantia 8 gallon Step Trash Can in Clay pink

Elegante, resistente, cómodo, ocupa muy poco espacio... Es un producto caro, pero muy bien pagado, porque te falicita la vida desde muchos aspectos: Al ser alto no tienes que agacharte, las bolsas se ponen muy fácil y rápido, cierra bien por lo que no deja lugar a olores, es completamente silencioso ya que tiene un sistema para que se abra y cierre muy despacio... Parece una tontería, pero cuando lo tienes te das cuenta de lo importantre que es invertir en un aparato que usas tantas veces al día. La única pega que se le puede poner es que este tipo de cubos tan estrechos se termina acumulando la basura en el fondo conmucha presión y a veces cuesta sacar la bolsa, por lo que se puede romper... Este problema se arreglaría con las bolsas de Brabantia que ellos mismos venden... La caja trae 5 de regalo para que las pruebes, son muy buenas y resistentes, pero un poco caras. Aquí en Amazon unos 9€, 40 bolsas.

I read all the reviews and was resigned to possibly having to exchange a few times to get one in decent shape, but mine arrived packaged well and in perfect condition. I am so happy! The Moss Green is gorgeous, just like it looks online. The foot pedal works well, very quiet and the soft close is great. I will use waterproof tape to cover the ventilation holes in the liner so that I can use this for recycle without a plastic bag. It won't work for cardboard or big pieces, but for cans and bottles it will be plenty big enough, and that is what I wanted it for. Highly recommend!

I love this trashcan so much. In fact, when my fiancé and I were splitting up our furniture (we're fine we just got temporary jobs on opposite sides of the country), I let him keep the electric trash can and I kept this one. It's got a great shape, slim profile, and holds quite a lot of trash. Yellow is my favorite color, but I have to say it was kind of difficult to choose from the variety of colors they offer. The pedal is very sturdy and you can't beat the soft close lid. The plastic insert is great and doesn't hold odors and has suction release holes (something you don't know you want until you accidentally rip a trash bag trying to get it out). At first it seems pricey, but it comes with a warranty and is a great quality product that is definitely worth the money.
