Colour My Sketchbook Bloom Paperback – 7 Nov. 2017

At first I didn't quite know what to make of this series of books by Bennett Klein [and I still don't]. I have been looking for something 'different' to colour and the reviews on this chap's page were just outstanding from the UK and the US. So I decided to take a risk and bought 2 of his most popular books. I have had a go at 2 of his pictures from EPIC, not very successfully I must admit. I always use markers and brush pens - maybe that is my problem and I should be using pencils. The paper used in the books is a decent enough white paper but you will need to use a piece of card behind or cut the page out as I always do. I shall be colouring more from BLOOM & EPIC [which I also bought] when I feel I want to spend some time and add my own creativity to these incredible and very strange drawings.

Another beautiful creation from the artist Bennett Klien. Bloom as the name suggests is all bases around floral blooms but I guarentee this is not your standard floral book ,,, from floral explosions to floral ice cream cones this book really does not disappoint.Bennett's art once again allows the imagination to have a ball while it thinks and plans colour palettes for these gorgeous pages.The images are single sided as we all know all Bennett's books are .The paper is ok ,, I can build 4/5 layers easily and I've used pastels successfully and even gel pens with a couple of pieces of card underneath your current piece so the next page is protected. If you wanted more layers or watercolours you could scan to thicker paper (for your personal use only) it purchase the PDF version of this book or any if Bennett's others. Xxx

This book is outside of my comfort zone floral and slightly more complication in the imagery.The book quality is great , I use both marker and pen and pencil forms of media and have has no problem laying down colour, I put a sheet of blotting paper between pages to stop bleeding of media or damage to the next page.

Another awesome adult colouring book from the lovely Bennett Klein.I have all the books in the series and have never been disappointed. If you like greyscale you WILL love these books. The pictures are beautifully drawn and let you inner artist go wild with colour. Bennett Klein's mind is a very interesting place, and this shows in his unique art.

Its defenetly an amazing book. I love Bennedt Kleins books, He is absolutly a gifted artist, and in this case dont judge the book by its cover. Whast you get is fantastic picture to color- So dont hestitate to by this book. Your gona love it

This book encouraged me to colour differently and it was a challenge. I don't like it as much as the fairy books but it is a good second best.

A glimpse into the mind of Bennett Klein, 25 unique floral based drawings but these are not just flowers. Just when you think you've seen it all, Bennett comes up with something new. Another edition to my hard cover and PDF collection.

Kept me going through lock down. Excellent book
